I mean as far as immunities to, say, rocket launchers, fire, acid, nukes, fiberglass shrapnel, jalapenos, etc.

They're really like mice. Reject Universe #52 RU52 is empty except for one long, infinite rail that runs across the entire universe. The rail constantly produces matter and energy. There is a natural pull in a direction known as "down". RU52ers must climb the rail like children on monkey bars. To RU52 humans, love and sex are abhorrent, alien concepts. Mating only occurs because around the age of thirty males get some common sense, realize that their species will not continue without mating, and mate with every female they see. They are shortly afterwards dropped from the rail by an angry mob. Wildlife An filterfeeder called the Gunkabapeal, a tubular worm that fits around the rail like a ring, emits slime in front and behind it, in an effort to trip predators. A highly dexterious omnivore called the Gunkei, which looks something like a green, scaly monkey with no face and a hand on its tail, has no hard time holding on to the rail as its hands are coated with a sticky material. The sticky material it leaves on the rail eventually grows into a barnacle like creature that grows into a baby Gunkei. A horiffic Carnivore called the Gunkatu floats below the rails, and looks something like an enormous batwinged sphere with a mouth. It uses it's tongue as a paddle to swat creatures into its mouth. nExT:Reject Universe #53

I had a quick bit of deja vu with the monkeybars bit from RU#3, but other than that it's good.
You could make the humans all blindingly beautiful just to screw up the player's characters a bit.

Except that this is only one rail, as opposed to a 3-dimensional grid. And I suppose it would be in the spirit of that universe for all humans to be blindingly attractive. And they may just be screwed up in more than one use of the term... Reject Universe #53 RU52 is a very very strange world. Just by chance, humans found the secret to faster than light travel and spaceships before they discovered nearly anything else. They have colonized thousands upon thousands of planets, yet their most advanced weapon is a spear and neither clothes nor furniture have been invented. Furthermore, humans reproduce quite quickly, making them the rabbits of their world. They know they are pregnant within ten minutes of conception and will likely give birth within three hours. Wildlife Humans have brought their wildlife to other worlds and, like the Cane Toad, it quickly takes over. One example is the Geef, hermaphroditic lady-bug sized animals that have four life periods-hunting for food, hibernating, mating and giving birth nearly constantly, and finally parenting. They can eat nearly anything as they swarm, though they generally prefer plants more. Society Society is barbaric, back to the ancient law of the jungle. Humans typically betray one another while taking over the worlds, commonly claiming to get only some continents and then slaying their partner and taking the whole planet. I can see some Lost-esque scenes taking place here.

Why, exactly? I haven't seen Lost, just read about it, so could you explain?

Neither have I, actually. I suppose Tarzan would be the more appropriate comparison.
Some sort of "Survive the jungle/savanna/swamp/general wilderness and the disgruntled natives" sort of deal.

You can double-post in the UT thread now, by the way. Reject Universe #54 RU54 is an infinite amount of unreal universes, inside a larger one. Little things about the size of a dust bunny hold universes. Though on the outside they are all the same size about, inside they contain a reality ranging in size from a cubic meter to nearly as large as the visible universe. When they collide is when interesting things start to happen. The universes stick to one another. Portals form between them. Items from the smaller world begin to be sucked into the larger world. The smaller world slowly shrinks. The portals get larger. Eventually the smaller world is gone, all its matter and energy diverged into the larger one. Well, that's what happens usually. Sometimes, it will fail. Sometimes, something splits the worlds apart before they fully consume one another. They split again, all the portals rapidly disappearing. Of course, there is another phenomenon. Sometimes, a reality will go through another one so fast that it has no time to stick. It will split the other world in two, portals forming that slowly feed a new world into existence as it grows and grows, until the portals disappear again and they go off their own ways. Wildlife Wildlife varies from world to world. In human worlds, some rather timid creatures exist, such as the Paranoid Vanth, a cricket-sized bipedal creature that runs from anything larger than it. Deadly Carnivores exist as well. The Grand Gumptch, a creature that takes up an entire world and eats all that comes into it is an example. Society Society is driven by what is called the "Will, Way, and Whim of Wan", Wan being what they call Insert. They think that when they are sucked into another universe, they should do so voluntarily rather than fighting it. There is no government, as a book Insert most heartily disagrees with entitled "The Mid" hypothesizes all sorts of irrelevant rules supposedly made by Insert, and it is so beat into children that they would kill their own parents, children, siblings, neighbors, random strangers, or dogs if they do not follow the directions within. Makes me wonder where the heck our travelers would come in on this.

Probably in a random reality. Just like in RU7.

Allright. Something of an unknown here. Allways nice to mix things up.
BTW, I have no further ideas for UT characters, but if I come up with one, I'll post it.

Alright. But PLEASE come up with some. I'll probably be able to make more. And get Hyperion to make more. 1 isn't going to cut it here. And why isn't anyone joining my bleeping contest? Reject Universe #55 In RU55, males are sort of bleeped. They are the only one that are not immortal. Females typically produce four children at once. They fall into a coma while giving birth, forever. Their mind and soul falls into each of their children, making females effectively immortal, at least to old age. In the begginning of their life they are one organism like a hivemind, and the female can switch between them at will. Slowly, over their childhood, in a painful proccess, each child develops a seperate personality and becomes a different mind and soul. The original female inherits only one of them (always a female) to continue controlling with what seems to her to be the same mind/soul. The worse thing that can happen to a female is producing four male children. This will result in her soul actually being torn into four pieces of equal size, though it is not the tearing that is bad so much as the equal size part, each mortal. All males are entirely mortal, which needless to say does not make them very happy. Wildlife A spiky immobile creature called the Spobgha, which appears as a spiky ball on a stalk, shoots spikes in all directions when it detects movement. The spikes burr deep into the animal, until they locate the stomach. They completely consume the stomach and the food in it, and then use the rest of the animal as fertilizer. Society Society is generally favored towards men. Women don't mind this, since they figure that since their life will be temporary, it might as well be the best one possible. Females generally spend "shifts" of one year taking care of males. Every ten years, a female goes and basically does all the work for ten males for a year, then finds someone who hasn't done it for a year and gets them to do so. There isn't really such a thing as marriage, males just mate with their assigned female. Hall of Rejected Univers(it)es:Reject Universe #56

I can see some wierdness going on here, though I suspect that the male characters will want to stick around... just a little bit longer...

Reject Universe #57 RU57 was progressing normally until something chaotic began to happen. The universe's fiber disentigrated. But man foresaw it. And woman. They built a giant machine, so that when physics was destroyed and all was random, they would be built into the universe. Humans and their planet are fully stable. Furthermore, it is utopian-they saw to that when they built the machine. There are no animals except pets, and though there is meat, it grows on trees and is thus artificial. Outside of the planet, on the other hand, nothing was done. All was completely random and humans could never exit as they would no longer have any order and would die of randomness. Fortunately, the Asibe layer, a layer of gases that protects the world from the randomness outside. Unfortunately, a technology called the Graitund, which is their only fuel as they have replaced all other methods, destroys the Asibe layer slowly. Randomness is already seeking to creep in... cancer is starting, buildings are crumbling, people are turning into ducks... but everyone refuses to do anything. Most think it is just a governmental conspiracy. Soon on Hall of Rejected Universes:Reject Universe #58

I think we'll just have to see what happens here. It looks like the characters will be at the mercy of the universe... but then when aren't they...
