Appearance: A revel is a serpent-like creature that has a multitude of scale colors and a natural helmet. Its wings are scales except the vulnerable skin that is light-weight and helps it stay aloft. Its tail ends in three blades, forming a triangle shape. This replaces the loss of claws. It lands on the ground in a coil and sleep as such also. Its eyes are protected by the helm and has a layer of protective skin to help protect them. It is able to go underwater for short periods of time due to the extra skin layer over the eyes like a frog. It has two long, pointed ears to help with aerodynamics. The helm ends in a V-shape, making for a perfect windbreaker for a rider behind it, but its small so that the rider can sit up to see or combat. When they are in their young stages, they are about the size of a fist. They age rapidly, but have an age of stunted growth, due to some domestication. Undomesticated Revel's continue to grow. This stunted growth is large enough to make pets, wrapping perfectly onto a large males shoulders as a familiar or pet. Within 2 years, they are thrown into a growthspurt to make up for the lost time, throwing the Revel out of wack for about a month, putting it into a light slumber. Once it wakes up, its size is that of an Adult.
Culture: The Revels live in in families and do not loyal themselves to another family unless the two are aligned in any way. Though it is not unusual for Revel to form into groups, or flocks. A revel eats about approximately 10 cows a day. Luckily, the poison desert is full of large animals to fit their taste and the large animals reproduce fast enough to sustain. A revel also drinks about 20+ Gallons of water a day to keep their body hydrated enough for flight. They have an immunity to poison to protect them from the poisons of their enemies, which was created from earlier generations. (Such as pesticide to ants and such. )
Intelligence: Revel's are highly intelligent creatures, and are able to pick their rider, if they choose so. They are capable of Telepathy to their riders and higher intellectual persons. This allows them to communicate with humans through their riders or higher intellectuals.
