"First of all, it's Qynag. Secondly, a ship with the new FTL drive, I guess. No hurry on that, though. And, by the way, do you have any data on terraforming?"

" Any data on terraforming? Qynaq, if we didn't, we wouldn't have one massive city as a country. Polia is a hell of radiation, lack of water, lack of solar radiation, and war. Outside of the shields, your unadapted form would probably die immediately. Now if the Alliance would let us terraform Polia, we'd all have a better life, but no. Once you leave, you won't be able to come back though. "

"Exellent. May I downlaod some of said information? I don't think I'll be leaving for some time, though..."

" Because once you do, this entire planet is cloaked if you have the wrong kind of sensors. You could come back and literally never find it, or run directly into it. It's happened too. You can have all of the information. Once we get the Majaag annihilated with the Crusader Virus we've been developping, we'll move on to the Alliance. Democracy will prevail against Monarchy. You solved a major question about FTL that our scientists have been trying to solve for decades, for that, you are especially thanked. "

"You're welcome, then. Am I further needed or can I have a look at that terraforming information?"

" Yes of course. " Haven District quickly copied the data onto the TAOQY, and handed it to him. " There, with that, even the most inhospitable terrestial world is colonizable with time. "

"Thank you. Now, if you don't mind, I'll be poring over this data. Do you have a place where I could do that in private?"

" Yes, you may also want to reveiw the comparisons of the F.I.N. and the Alliance, to see just how far apart our ideals are. I have also learned that we were forced to leave another of your kind behind. If you want, we might forcibly extract it. "

"Don't worry about that, she'll come around eventually. She's hardly helpless, you know."

" Haven District seriously doubts that. Simply go down the hall, and take one of the guest rooms. " Haven District then pointed to the hall which was the only way out of the Senate. " This session is now complete. " The rest of the Districts then began talking, and leaving.

((While we wait for Hyperion to post, let's bring the longest thread in the forum back to life))
Qynag exited the senate and picked out a guest room. Making himself comfortable, he rested, quickly falling asleep.
Meanwhile...
Lash, still back with Jaka'Nua, was busy contemplating whether her decision to stay had been wise.

Jaka'Nua was not in the least bit worried, and had apparently not even worked up a sweat. He was however, quite furious that the F.I.N. would dare enter his sanctum. One of the Security Koans ran into the spire. " Great One, Great One! " Jaka'Nua magnetically screamed into his face, " WHAT NOW?! " The Koan fell onto its head in fear, " The Majaag, they attack! " Jaka'Nua had to sit down, and think. " I thought it would take them longer. Not just a few hours, but days... I've underestimated them... I need some time to think. Angalesh, you should take cover somewhere. I need to be alone. " Jaka'Nua disappeared behind his holographic screens and panels, giving orders to Alliance officers and soldiers across the globe.
A hologram of Polia appeared on screen, with green areas designating safe zones, and red areas designating infected zones, and black areas designating landed Majaag spires. Black zones dotted Polia, and the red zones were getting larger every second. " We may need divine intervention to survive... " Jaka'Nua said.
Out the windows, Majaag dreadnoughts morphed into massive skyscraper-tall assault walkers, that began wreaking havoc on Foundation, the defenses unable to keep the Majaag at bay. An alarm went off, " City boundaries have been broken! All take cover in the bunkers, All Koans take cover in the bunkers! "

Lash's mind raced as she tried to think of something to help. She decided to head for the bunkers, in an attempt to defend them.

Most of the Koans trying to enter were already infected, and quickly shot to death by incendiary rounds, burning alive. The radiation was far too great for single cells to float through the atmosphere, which was their normal pattern of terrestial invasion. So it thankfully wasn't airborne. As Lash approached the massive bunker doors, a perimeter had been set up, and one of the guards pointed, " Get in now! We shut in 60 seconds! " He returned to firing his four rifles at the infected. " This is strange, where are all the Commons?! " One Soldier yelled.

Lash held up three fingers, then two, then one, finally pointing into the bunker. Nothing happened, and she finally ducked inside, realizing that, missing enemies or not, it was closing fast.
