" We are creators. Life perfected. Soon we will be able to form universes themselves. We will spread across the infinity, with time, but we have an infinity of time, so it doesn't matter. It is futile to stop the inevitable. "

"Depends on your definition of inevitable. I've stopped events described as such several times.
Besides which, who says you are life perfected? I can do by myself things that would take your entire population's intense concentration to even attempt."

" You are something not of this plane. You are nothing but some form of hyper-dimensional android, cursed to safe-guard a ship. What a lowly existence. "

"If I wanted to, I could say 'forget you all' and go universe hopping again. I'm betting Richard thinks he's gotten rid of me for good by now. However tempting that is, though, I find it pleasing that I actually have a goal in life other than sightseeing and general disruption of other being's lives.
As for being a 'hyperdimensional android', your guess is as good as mine."

" We continue to have work to do. We assume that there is nothing more to speak of. " The voice went silent, as it disconnected.

"Well... at least we figured out that diplomacy is completely useless, and they also have a god complex."
And with that, work continued on the weapony. The main cannon was modified to project gravitational anomalies. With enough power, it could create a black hole.
As for the genetic destroyer, little progress had been made. Modifiactions had been made to the virus to allow it to reproduce in vast numbers, but that was all.

Within weeks, many of the worlds had become covered with a primordial soup. The Majaag did not seem to interfere with other's affairs, only destroying ships that fired upon them, almost immediately. Their shields were incredibly advanced, and simply deflected all shots at them. In fact, a Neo Majaag capital ship had yet to be seen, as there were only small ships that were in space, usually opening wormholes, and then closing them on their way out.
Raminaa looked at the data he had assembled, " So. It doesn't really seem to be that they're hostile. They've only defended themselves from these reports from other civilizations. What do you think, Wanderer? "

"I'm not sure whether to be relieved or suspicious. There is no concrete reason to attack them now, and I'd hate to ruin what little is left of the Angalesh's reputation..."
He sighed and thought it over for several moments.
"At this point, I think all we can do is watch and wait; build up our defenses in the meantime, and finish terraforming Angal.
I've also concidered trying to dig up more Quroche-Sauros relics. I know where most of their colonies were, if they haven't been glassed or nuked by the H'qur..."

Raminaa went about his normal duties, rather unconcerned being the last of his race. He simply wanted Angal terraformed already so he could rebuild the Koans.
Within a few days, the wormhole to another galaxy's signature spiked, and then completely went away. The obvious conclusion was that the Neo-Majaag had become an intergalactic species. Surveillance across galaxies would be much harder to do, as yet another galactic wormhole began to be openned, and much more quickly than the previous one.

Angal now had a stable ecosystem, and there was nothing more to be done to speed up the process of terraforming. Things would simply have to grow and reproduce from now on.
Wanderer observed the wormholes closing and opening, and was once again tempted to retrieve more technology, if only to expand their sensors far enough to watch another galaxy. Another ship was out of the question, as there were simply too few Angalesh at this point to man another.

Raminaa turned to Wanderer from his post, suddenly saying " Do you have genetic manipulation technologies, Wanderer? "

"Yeah, it was the Sauros' focus for most of their history. Why?"

" Fight fire with fire, if you can get the genes from a Neo-Majaag, maybe you can make my resulting offspring into super Koans. We have experience fighting the bastards anyway, we'll just be on equal footing this time. "

"There's allways the threat of genetic memories and personalities. The Sauros didn't rule them out one way or another...
We'll intergrate the Neo-Majaag genes into the population gradually, to be safe. Fortunately, we still have the genetic data I gathered from the first Neo-Majaag."

" I expect you to further enhance the psionic capabilities in comparison to the Neo-Majaag if it's going to take years then... I personally can't see any other way to fight them, other than using their own strengths against them. " Raminaa put his tentacles in the air, unsure of what to do.
