The old Koa suddenly fell to the ground, thrashing about. " You dare attempt to stop us?! Foolish Koans! You cannot even begin to comprehend the level of our power! " The Collective said, streaming into the minds of everyone onboard. The old Koa's mind was gone within moments, a lifeless husk left behind. It stood up, under the power of the Collective, " You are fools to oppose the Collective. We will not die. You see now the magnitude of our being, what we can achieve, together. " The Koa then suddenly exploded, splattering body parts onto the walls, as the maniacle laugh of the Majaag Collective seemed to echo from everywhere.

"!!!!!!!?!...?...!!!" was all they got from Wanderer as he franticly broadcasted his own message, slamming as hard as he could on the activation key for the transmitter. Several of the Angalesh on the ship colapsed, most others were completely dazed and confused, but a few remained standing. One stumbled over in an attempt to aid Wanderer, but passed out on the way. Wanderer finaly concentrated enough to have an impact on the key, and the AC-Virus was transmitted to the Majaag.

A high-pitched scream of sorts seemed to come onto the sensors, then nothing. Through any kind of window or veiwscreen, the massive ring stayed intact, as everything around it broke apart and fell into the black hole.

"Something tells me something went very wrong..."
Not wanting to take any chances, he began working on engaging the FTL... which would take a few minutes at best...

Two small Majaag ships warped in suddenly, apparently from the edge of the galaxy. The FTL drives on them seemed to establish a wormhole instead of morphing the surrounding space, allowing for near-instant travel. " You stupid fools. The super massive black hole is now getting exponentially more massive! " They began to fire at the ring, trying to stop the process as the event horizon seemed to grow larger and larger.

The ship finaly warped away, and the crew began to recover it's senses again.
"OK, I know you all nearly had your synapses overloaded, but does anyone know how to stop and/or reverse a black hole's growth? Those of you that have no clue, search the database. They've got to hae something in there..."

Raminaa shook violently, getting off his father's blood and organs. " The ring is the key. The Majaag must've built it instead of growing it. When they died, it probably got out of control and started a feedback mechanism that made it grow larger. Destroy the ring, stop the black hole I guess... " Raminaa shrugged, trying not to get any more blood onto him.

"Makes sense... Look up a contigency plan, though."
A few Angalesh walked off the bridge to do just that.
"Weapons status?"
"Cannons online, drillbits being manufactured, and shields are operational."
"The big gun?"
"Hold on... charged."
"Well then, back we go."

Once they returned, they found the ships concentrating their fire on a small portion of the ring, trying to destabilize it enough to cause a domino effect that would pull what was left of the ring into the black hole, and thus let the black hole return to its normal gravity. The Majaag quickly sent them a message, " Where the hell have you been?? We're all dead if this thing doesn't break! " The event horizon grew larger and larger.

//If we can not destroy the ring, we have found a way to create a pulse simmilar to that of the ring, slowing the black hole's growth...//
The ship lowered it's shields momentarily to launch a massive burst of energy at the ring where the Majaag were firing.

The energy burst destroyed one of the anti-gravity generators, destabilizing part of the ring, and causing a domino effect as the other generators were destroyed as the peices of the ring were pulled apart, and eventually fell into the ring. " Success. Er. " The Majaag ships turned to the ship, and quickly began to activate their wormhole drives, attempting to escape.

Oddly, the ship made no move to track them or follow.
"If and when they come back in greater numbers, however, I'm firing the virus again."

The Majaag ships disappeared to the edge of the galaxy, possibly to never be seen again for decades.
Raminaa, " So... it's over? Finally? "

((Not if I can help it!))
"For the Majaag... no. I expect they'll regroup and rebuild. In the meantime, we have our own rebuilding to do. To Angal!"

((Dragging it on and on eh?))
The Koans on the moon would later be found to have been killed by a Majaag virus as well, leaving Raminaa the last surviving Koa in the galaxy.
Raminaa, " Well.. alright. " Raminaa found a corner in the space ship, going into the hibernation.
