They reached the main computer core, and Wanderer began to show them the device that had been hastily patched in.
"Basicly, this thing's tuned into my thoughts, which allows me to control the ship. It's a reciever, but I might be able to turn it into a transmitter. I'm sure the Quroche logged their work into the database..."
And so the work on the reciever began. Wanderer pulled up all the releavant information, then disconnected, allowing them to modify the device. A group of Angalesh supplied further intelligence and manpower.

" Okay okay, good good. Soon the end of the Majaag will take place. " The old Koa said, finally finishing his duty. Raminaa spoke to him, " Is it right to kill a species, no matter how bad they are, father? " The old man smacked Raminaa again, " Foolish boy, if we let even one cell continue to be part of the Majaag Collective, they will destroy us all! " Raminaa motioned to Wanderer, " What do you think? Is it right to wipe out a species just because they follow their instincts? " The old Koa smacked Raminaa again, " Shut up! Fire the weapon once we're in the center of the galaxy. Don't think of the morality of it. "

"If those instincts could quite likely wipe out all other life in the galaxy and beyond, then yes. I think it equates to some form of 'the needs of the majority overrule those of the minority'. If we keep them alive, many other races will perish as a result of our inaction. And on that note, I'm sending this thing to the center of the galaxy."
There was a pause, but the ship's engines didn't fire up.
"Right... link's broken. I'll have to have some one do it manually."
Wanderer headed back to the bridge.

Raminaa didn't like it. Maybe the Majaag could've been changed. In any case, there was no going back. The two Koans followed Wanderer.

On the bridge, Wanderer instructed the Angalesh on how to fly the ship.
"I suppose you can keep it, once this is all said and done."
The ship was now moving towards the center of the Galaxy at FTL speeds. ETA: about a day.

At the center of the galaxy, what the ship would see could only be described as remarkable. The Majaag had come together into one massive ring station orbiting around the massive black hole in the center of the galaxy, attempting to stabilize it to allow passage to another galaxy. A gaint gateway to escape destruction was the plan. It was cutting edge organic technology for the Majaag, who were taking a crash course in gravitronics. Resistance would be feirce if the ship continued to try and reach the center of the galaxy.

"And here I was worrying about them finding Quroche technology. Looks like they're halfway allready..."
He paused, concidering his options.
"Either we fire the virus from here and cross our fingers... so to speak, or we back out and try to get this ship up to full power so we can take these fellows on properly."

The old Koa spoke quickly, " If we don't reach the center, there's a good chance that the Majaag have troops on the edges of the galaxy, going outward as fast as possible. The Majaag are a very strange. They never seem to rely on one plan, and always have two or three ready, always a step ahead of the enemy. They would be great tactical computers, it's too bad they have to be destroyed. "

"Let me try something... Keep your finger over the "Engage FTL" button, Lash."
Wanderer began broadcasting to the gathered Majaag.
//We have news for you. In our hands we posess the end to your existance. With a single shot, this virus will eat destroy your groupmind, turning the entire Majaag collective into nothing more than organic scrap. You have a choice; stop attempting to wipe out other races, or be wiped out yourself.//

Almost immediately, the Majaag broadcasted back into the ship, with the power of trillions of voices all speaking at once, " We are the Collective. You are not among us, and yet you attempt to sway us. You are seperate. To be seperate, is to not know the joy of the Collective. We bring those who are seperate to know the joy of the Collective. Our technology is exponentially advancing. Your great and mighty ship will soon be equalled, and even surpassed by us. We are the next step of evolution. You must admit this. There is no other choice, to become part of the Collective is the destiny of every organism in the universe. We don't conquer, we liberate. You must agree? "

//And what happens when all life is "liberated"? Do you turn on yourselves like starving beasts?//

" With the combined thought of every organism in the universe, we will move into every other universe, infinitely. It is simply the Majaag way. We will liberate even extra-dimensional beings, until such a time arrives when the Collective has the thought power equal to your Gods. At this point, our predictions become obscured. We do not know what will happen then. "

//Who gives you this right?//
Wanderer started motioning for an Angalesh to get the transmitter ready for firing.

" We are unsure. If you wish to blame anyone, blame the Jualicans who created us. " The Majaag continued trying to stabilize the black hole, constantly making progress.
The old man practically yelled at them, " They never intended for you to become like this! Don't insult our common ancestor! "
" That is what sets us apart, Majaag and Koans. We can never reconcile our differences. We were the successful creation, you failed in your attempts to stop the Halians, while we obliterated them. Face it, your entire race is a failed experiment. " The Majaag Collective laughed in the face of the two Koans. " You couldn't even defend your own homeworld. "
" That's it! Burn Majaag! " The old man began to move to hit the fire button on the transmitter.

Wanderer made no move to stop him. He didn't have any further verbal ammo left anyway. No one could say he didn't try...
