"I hope they're not immune to interdimentional rifts and the effects they create. Quroche have an unbelievable amount of control over space-time. The energy from rifts and warps powers most of this ship's technology, which is why anyone going into engeneering needs special equipment."
Now, all that stood between the worm and it's goal was a few feet of corridor, and a door that would probably open automaicly.

The worm split into three seperate worms. " Ey, moron, you first! " The first worm ordered the first second one, " Aight. " It crawled to the door.
Mr. Long said, " So what will happen to it? "

"Most likely it will go into a coma from whatever it senses in there."

The Worm inched it way to the door, and tapped it.
" So, whadda ya think will happen? " The second worm said to the first one.
" Dunno. I made you two to be the test Majaag, he'll probably get killed by a defense, and then we'll pass that defense. " The first worm said to the second worm.

The door opened almost silently, then shut behind the test worms. There were hooks on the walls of the airlock-like room, presumably for hanging safety equipment. An automatic recording, probably a safety warning, chittered and hissed over the room's speakers.
When the Majaag neared the second door, it too opened... though not into any recognisable room. There was brightness, there was color, there was darkness, all fighting for attention. The worms felt as if they were being exploded and crushed at the same time. Silence roared at them.
A human might have described it as "an acid trip's acid trip.", and it would have made most beings colapse on the floor, foaming at the mouth and spasming.

Suddenly, the entire Majaag race being united, began to freak out, and shut down. All across the Galaxy, Commons fell over, Worms stopped crawling, and starships stopped reacting. The ships of the Majaag fleet on the outskirts of the system itself occasionally collapsed into each other.
Mr. Long said to the Koan. " So what happened? The worms just freaked out and keeled over? "

"I think the law of unintended consequences just kicked their rears. I doubt they're dead, just simply unable to function."

After a few minutes, the Majaag came to one universal thought, " Light within Darkness... Sound from Silence.... Implosion... Explosion.... Impossible... Wait... No... Maybe... God. " One of the worms suddenly said to the other, " Duuuuuddeee, that was like, intense. " In one instant, the Majaag had come to follow what they believed was God. The only thing scarier than a hungry Majaag, was a hungry Majaag who gave reasons for what they did. The worms quickly adapted to this strange mish-mush, and pressed onward.

Now... it was merely a matter of finding where the technology actually was. All that appeared to be in the room was the rift, contained in some matter to prevent anything from accidentally comming into contact with it.

The worms began to scour the area, searching for this strange shield technology. The moment they found a counter, the fleet would warp in, and tear apart the ship, peice by peice.
Mr. Long, " So uh. Are we screwed now? Maybe you should uh... send someone inside to stop them? "

"You're right... I should."
With that, Wanderer was gone, reappearing in engeneering. He looked down at the worms, who viewed him as a very large, very intimidating, semi-transparent Majaag.
"Last chance to turn around and get out."

" We Majaag are divinely better than you, creature. Your technology will be our's. Your matter, will be our's. You will become a part of us, a part of the Divine Whole. " The worms continued their search, which was much more aggressive now.

"Fine."
Wanderer touched one of the worms, and it dissapeared, teleported to the white void. Mr. Long also found himself standing outside, in the corridor that had led him to the void, only this time, the door was locked down.

The remaining Majaag worms broke apart into millions of tiny seperate cells, making it nearly impossible to get them all. They continued their search for the technology.
Mr. Long was a bit stunned, " This ship is insane. "

Standing still, Wanderer focused his energy. Bit by bit, the air in the room was teleported away into the void, along with any Majaag cells that had been in it.
