The Majaag continued to seige the area, and began to come closer to the planet. They looked at these shields, trying to find and adapt a counter. Thus far, they had not encountered such technology.
They conversed within their group mind, and settled on a plan after a few moments. At the present moment, it was futile to attempt to counter something that they had no idea of how it worked. They continued their assault, but this was only a diversion.
A small detachment grew from one of the farther-away dreadnoughts, and flew down to the planet. Here, it mimiced the ship that had been taken by the Majaag-infested space station from earlier. It sent out a message in Angalesh, " Wait for us, we got here late! " It approached the ship, trying to get in as well.

Not wanting to send the Angalsesh ship through the Majaag fleet again, Iniros asked the ship to let the newcommer through.
//OK. Hold on.//
The lights inside the ship brightened briefly as the shield shut off to let the transport through. There was a sickening lurch as the entire crater fell several feet and the ship began to tilt in the loosened ground, the support from the shield gone. the transport was in quickly, though, and the shields turned back on, stabalizing the ship and cutting a new rift from it's shifted position.

Phase 1 successful. Initiate imbendment of agents. The Majaag collective said to itself. The ship landed, itself having no obvious Majaagness about it. The species onboard were plain Angalesh, and quickly got off it. The agents themselves began their observation of the ship. The Majaag fleet pulled back, knowing it was futile to attack, but now they had their sleeper agents. The jumped out of the system, and laid in wait.
Mr.Long began to find his way, trying to find the person who was controlling the ship.

There seemed to be very few signs about, and all that he did find were written in alien script. Since the ship had changed position, the hallways were at a more correct angle, though heading "forward" was like going up a steep hill. The airlock was also closer to the ground now, though much of the excavaion had caved in, burrying it beneath a pile of rocks and dirt. The remaining Angalesh outside worked to fix this.
A few of the Angalseh wanted to know the newcommer's names, as the ones who had responded were all acounted for.

The two new Angalesh simply said Hash and Bash, thinking it was slightly funny. They also said that they were born in the time when the Angalesh were broken up, and had been out of contact with the Angalesh themselves.
Meanwhile, while the Angalesh-Agent decoys *two layers of decoys, just how Majaag spec ops work.* A small wormlike being, smaller than an Earth-Earthworm, crawled out of the ship. It began to head for what it sensed was the shield room, to discover the technology, its counter, and to trash the place.

Odd names... and they didn't give us their last name... It's far too soon for there to be a post-destruction generation. At best, they would just be walking and talking.
Though the Angalesh were instantly suspicious, they made no move to show it and simply accepted the story. However unlikely, it was possible. However, from then on, they acted a bit jumpy... paranoid.
Meanwhile...
Mr. Long had located the person controling the ship, though he probably didn't know it at first. He'd walked through a doorway... and into a seemingly endless white void.
The shield room, on the other hand, had been locked down, with heavy blast doors blocking the worm's way.

The two Angalesh began to settle into the area, trying to act normal. Meanwhile...Mr.Long suddenly said, " Who are you? What are you? " The Worm adapted a plasma heater on its front, and began trying to melt through the blast doors. Grumble. Stupid ship making this harder than it has to be.((BRB in like 30 minutes, need to tan and become Non-Pale. ))

The airlock had been uncovered, and the Angalesh began exploring the ship...
Meanwhile...
"The name's Wanderer... and I'm not quite shure what I am. Maybe you could tell me."
The voice came from behind him. When he turned around, the door was gone, and in it's place was a semi-transparent Koan in the most mysterious robes that would fit on a Koan. The being was manipulating a Koan console, aparently to control the ship.
//Hey! I sealed off the shield room for a reason! Very delicate stuff in there! And I don't know where the sense guards are...//
Meanwhile...
As the anouncement blared over the speakers, the worm had melted halfway through the blastdoor, only to hear the thunk of another slam down behind it.

The Majaag thought, Hah, they think they can stop the mighty Majaag?! We will still melt through this door! It continued moving forward, knowing it was safe within the door.
Mr. Long said suddenly, " You definitely not a Koan, you're obviously a shape-shifter. There is no record of any Koan surviving before 10,000 years ago. " He knew in his bones that this might be a trick. " So what's wrong, Wanderer? "

"What? Oh, right. I know I'm not a... Koan. I've never seen one of you before. I think that's mostly just your subconsious interpreting me wrong...
Anyway... someone's trying to get at the shield generator. Someone very small...
//Please stop this! You can not enter engeneering without proper protection, or you will suffer any number of harmful neurological effects!//

The worm pushed onward, melting it's way through. It began to take some of the metal from the door to make a protective casing, inching along. Obviously they do not know how extremely complicated the Majaag neurological system is.
Mr. Long said, " Uh huh. Right. Whatever, in any case, how small are they? "

"Judging by the size of the hole they're making..." he made a small loop with a tentical, about the size of the burrowing Majaag, "This big... or smaller."
Wanderer looked worriedly at the "screen" of his console.
//If you do not stop, I will be forced to take action, resulting in your injury or possible death.//

" It is you who will perish vermin! " It ramped up the power on the plasma, blazing a superheated hole through the blast doors.
Mr. Long thought for a moment, " So what can you do? You won't kill it if it's a Majaag. " He looked at the console, trying to figure it out.

"Majaag?"
As the worm had finished cutting through the second door, a third slammed down on it in an attempt to crush it.

It had developped a high-density metal carapace around it suddenly, and began to grindingly inch. " HAhah, up your's, you pitiful excuse for an intelligent being! "
Mr. Long made a few motions of shapeshifting to any size, " Majaag, any size shapeshifters, infectious, pain in the ass to kill. They're basicly immune to almost any weapon. They don't know how to defeat your sheilds, so they'll integrate your technology, replicate it, and figure out a counter. It's what they do. Koans have been fighting them for a very very long time. "
