The Spieroirs are a sapient race, inhabiting a medium sized planet planet near the Inner Realm.
Planet:
The planet(Sphericoca) consists of a single, large, rocky, continent and a large island. The eastern half of the continent is one large plain/desert that can reach up to scorching degrees of 300C in certain areas! The Spieroirs inhabit the western part of the continent, which is mostly mountains that are quite large, preferring to stay out of the scorching desert plain that is the east half. An interesting feature is that a giant river(named Sed, after a great chieftain of the old times) comes out of one of the largest mountains and proceeds through the desert to form a large lake near the ocean(the lake is named Serd, after Sed's rival). The river also divides the island off shore (named Nirvans, after the first spacecraft-it's original name was Nirvanj) from the continent. No sapient life forms live on the island, although several large animals have been confirmed to have dens near the coast where the island is hottest. The island, like the eastern half of the continent, is a desert, hot and a large plain.
Government: The Spieriors are run by a board of dictators named The Chosen Three. They provide a high standard of living to the rich and those in the military (those two demographics together are roughly thirty percent of the ten billion population) and an extremely low standard to everyone else. The Chosen Three's earliest form(roughly three thousand years in the past was the earliest form of The Chosen Three formed) have demolished civil unrest by implementing them as gods and their successors as demi-gods. Every citizen believes this religion and the Scripture of it (named the J'ian, after the first member of The Chosen Three) and would gladly die to defend their religion. The religion teaches them to accept the lifestyle their stuck at and not to rebel.
Space Program: There are exactly three satellites above the planet (one for communications with ETs(think SETI), one for residential(roughly 10 million inhabitants live in this station) and one for defence(a weapons platform). The Spieroirs control a small space fleet consisting of 1000 fighters, 1000 bombers, 10 carriers (they contain the fighters and bombers), and one capital ship.
Appearance: The Spieroirs have a central body(usually brown), two long legs with large feet to keep their balance, a scorpion like tail with a poisonous barb on the end and a tail that functions like a hand. They have two sets of eyes (one for day and one for night).

Culture: The culture and artwork before The Chosen Three was varied. The large majority of Spieroir artwork and sculptures was showing the majesty of the mountains and the harsh, yet beautiful, endless plains of white sand in the East. Other artwork usually showed the glory of the artist’s tribe and the weaknesses of other tribes. A fine example of Spieroir sculpting would be The Conflict by Sed’s youngest son (regarded to be the greatest Spieroirs artist of all time). It is a sculpture made out of dozens of kinds of stone. It shows a large (the battle is fictional, but is said to be inspired by the River War) army wearing red while fighting an army made of blue. Everything in the sculpture, such as weapons and Superiors, is full size and looks almost real. The current where-abouts of the sculpture is unknown. The conclusion made from looking at the artwork of the time before The Chosen Three shows a respect for nature, a grudging respect for other tribes, and the will of the Spieroirs to survive in the mountains.
All artwork after The Chosen Three were elected had to display the glory of the leaders. Artists who didn’t comply were put to death. Unsuprisingly, the amount of art made has plummeted.
