((They're not even there yet. Or are you telling me they have the power to attack over long (lightyears) range?))

((Yes. These things have a lot more power than what they could demonstrate in the RUs- most of their abilities can't be used in Rus because Insert is trying to constantly destroy the, severely weakening them. Bring them somewhere external to Insert and they become very powerful.))

((Rebooting as a god war...))
In this day and age, where science had explained the universe and put most, if not all, of it's functions in the hands of mortals, one has to wonder if there's any place for religion? Charx Eternal wondered that himself. All but a select few of the races living in this great galaxy of his had flat out shunned him, their once noisy celebrations in his and his children's names now silent. Even the once great cult of Riet had faded.
But still, he would keep the galaxy spinning, and maybe some day he'd finally catch up with that sparkling jem just out of reach...
Behold the pantheon of this realm;
Charx Eternal, Guardian of the Rim, Keeper of Time, Creator of the Will, Beloved by the Good, Feared by the Wicked, Forever pursuing his tail, may he forever keep the galaxy spinning...
The five Brachioserpents, Suramen, Noress, Farlong, Durnet, and Arinis, Children of Charx, Eternally Loyal, The weight of civilization rests on their spangled sides, may they forever shine...
Riet'Neysula, Guardian of the Core, Betrayer of Charx Eternal, Destroyer of All, Beast of Many Worlds, Captor of Riet, may he forever be confined to his prison...
Velb, Keeper of the Spaces Between, Present where all others are absent, Child of the Way, Giver of Life, Eyes of Charx, may he forever keep watch...
Kalgat, Guardian of Riftspace, Opener of Wormholes, Guider of Travelers, Friend to the Explorer, Isolated from the Others, may his million throats remain...
Somensaya!

((We're kind of starting over. Seth and the 709th have been moved to "insignificant" status, but the plague is still spreading...))

((The locusts are moving from ship to ship and turning into magma, y/n?))

((Yes, they are still spreading. The story is the same, the 709th are just little ants now, so they can be mostly ignored...))
Arinis cried out in pain as his children were slowly being destroyed by these newcommers. Charx Eternal, for a brief instant, forgot about his tail, so startled by his child's shout. All the invisible eyes of the pantheon turned to the planets engulfed by magma-demons. There was a pause, then Charx Eternal, with aid of Velb, created an avatar to deal with the matter while they continued to tend to theirs.
A dark figure popped into existance above one of the lava-covered worlds. It desended, as if falling, but stopped and hovered several meters above the surface of the magma.

Heat licked up, sniffing the figure. Many rotten, twisted hands emminated from the magma. A red chain, glowing with heat, leaped out of the flame and consumed the figure, dragging it down into the magma.

There was a pause, then the magma around the figure began to bubble, first slowly, then furiously. Moments later, the magma parted, blown away from the figure in a sphere roughly three meters across.

The magma kept trying to come back to the figure, but always splashed off of the sphere.

The figure tilted his head, as if examining the magma, before extending the sphere by several more meters.

This seemed to weaken its effects. Now, the magma did not stop at a perfect sphere but actually penetrated it.

The figure uttered an uneartly hiss from deep in it's throat, readied itself, and shot a bolt of lightning from it's outstreched hand.
