The Des-Mat are a demonic race that eats and reproduces using humans.

The Mat are a race of what appears to be headless humans.
The Des-Mat
In a symbiotic relationship, the Des and Mat combine and disguise as humans (the wings fold behind the ears). The Des provides food and intelligence to the Mat and the Mat provides energy via the heart to the Des. Des can survive for about a day without Mat, they have a sort of battery. Mat can survive for about a day without Des, until they run out of energy and die of starvation. Des fly off of their Mat at night, group together, swarm humans and eat them, then fly back to their Mats. Having sex with a Des-Mat will cause you to turn into a Des-Mat, as will being bitten but not killed by one. Having your head severed by a Des-Mat will cause either your head to turn into a Des or your body to turn into a Mat.

Well...
They're generally attractive. That's not exactly redeeming, though, given the intentions of this.

Well...
They talk about stuff. With one another.
Most of it evil.
Because they're demonic.
They have a game called "Lieboard", where they set up a board and go out and lie to humans, and every time they don't notice, they get a point.
