The ship needs computers.
SoDAlg
Society Determiner Algorythmizer
The computer that keeps resources and daily life on the ship going. Has a holographic and voice persona, female and a tad "eccentric".
LAH
Land Analyzing Hectobot
LAH is the computer that scans found universes. It is called a Hectobot because an odd coincidince resulted in the first computer of its kind was the hundredth one tried. LAH translates readings into casual, understandable-by-normal-humans terms. He has a male holographic/voice form.

Wanderer (Pre-Angalesh vs Majaag era)
Male? Unknown age. Though originally not a part of the ship's crew, Wanderer was drawn to the project when he found out they were going universe hopping. Having nothing better to do at the time, he made his presence known, and was put on the ship. He may have motives other than simply tagging along, but what they are is unknown.

Martha Growheart
The ship's nurse. She's been a nurse for generations. She had her knowledge of Nurse-ery uploaded via pod and thus only makes mistakes by the faults of others, when being a nurse. She is rather short-tempered and impatient. She is rather disgusted at the concept of completely new kinds of injuries from other worlds.
John Maroontee
Taken aboard for bizzare reasons, John Maroontee has no experience in any particular area. He stumbled upon his own file one day. He's the disposable one, the one noone cares about. He's been dreading universal travel ever since, and the others trying to calm him down.

Bovit
Bovit is a RU1ian. Specifally, he is a Cappik, an orphan. His parents were killed by Sevvels when his village was raided for slaves, and most people he knew sold into slavery. He lives with an adoptive tribe of Pilloses and his space hopper, Tin.
Man Deth
Man, male, is known for his anthropologic work. He is to serve as a diplomat and translator. He specializes in alien psycologies, making him perfect for the job.
Jessica Boot
Jessica Boot is Man Deth's girlfriend. He would not come without her and the government extremely needed him. She is treated like a fifth wheel as she has no particular skills and is not supposed to die.
Fredrick Saw
Fredrick Saw is a cartographer. He is to make maps of the various universes. He is quite famed for mapping the Voltinimous Moon of Grunzclack 5, very hard to map as anyone who looks directly at it feels the pains of a thousand deaths, and then actually experiences one.
Manu
Manu is an immigrant from the People's Republic of Asia. He is a columnist on Earth, and is there to write of the discoveries and send them back to the United States.
