It's the moment you've all been waiting for. It's the... Hall! Of! Rejected! Universes! R! P! Rules All of the gamingsteve rp rules apply. However, there is additionally something called the Account System. By the Account System, you can have as many characters as you want in your account and can create or introduce more at any time. You should use Horizontal rules
to seperate things happening in different places. As characters are not so unique, you should not feel you have to keep your characters alive. If its best for the plot for one of your characters to die, kill him off. Your characters can be from any universe, but the thirty RU42ers aboard the President Harry all must be claimed before the RP can start. Plot:See RU42 in the Hall of Rejected Universes thread. The President Harry is looking to explore other universes. (It is named after President Harry Agharmons, moderate, who authorized the movement to explore outside of the galaxy.) I'll start. Captain George Chestnut The Captain of the President Harry. Male. 16 years old (in the future, humans have developed techniques to speed up development early, then slow it down, making the lifespan 360, but people adults by 15, making him the equivelent of just over twenty). Married to his wife, Morgan Surround, who lives on Ghoben V. Expert at his job, having trained in childhood. Lieutenent Melissa Jare The leader of the ship's armory, in case relations turn hostile. Female. 23 years old. Unmarried. Child of the president Mary Jare. Rather arrogant at best, and absolutely immature and childish at worst. Not generally like by the rest of the crew.
I'll make more soon.

Dr. Darren Doom Atomic physicist. Well known for his device that can turn iron into gold via fusion, which dropped gold prices quite a bit. Has a few minor nuclear weapons just in case, but mainly there to study atomic systems in other universes. A love him or hate him kind of guy, though most hate him, making him a sort of real-life HelloWorld.
Professor James Q. Columbus Well known professor at the Harvard on Luna. Male. 45. Unmarried. Known for conquering the Undyungi (sapient) aliens, jellyfish-like seadwellers. Most percieve him as a wonderful hero, but some of the crewmates secretly hate him for his cruelty towards the Undyungi.
Josef Wagin A spy for the New Soviets. 76 (Equivelent to someone in their late thirties lookswise.) Secretly asassinated Ben Graff, famed scientist, to replace him. Due to his look-nanobots, no-one can tell.

Calvin Onis
News reporter and historian. Male, 20. Married to Amelia Onis, father of Nathan Onis. Here on the excuse that he can sensationalize the story even if they find absolutely nothing.
Dr. Amelia Onis
Medical doctor, one of the best. Female, 21. Married to Calvin Onis, mother of Nathan Onis. Sweet, caring, and motherly unless it's an emergency. Then she turns into a no nonsense person.
Nathan Onis
Son of Calvin and Amelia. Male, 15, training to be a pilot. Brought along since they didn't want to leave him home on Makor IV.

Dethy Hogronet Famed actress at only 23, Dethy was sent because, shortly after having an affair, her family, hoping to get her away from the news media, payed the government ten quadrillion dollars (equivelent of 2 trillion dollars with inflation, though rich people are richer in the future) for a seat. Definitely the stupidest member, with an IQ shown to be somewhere in the seventies. Always talking about how she plans to make a movie out of it when she gets home, annoying others to no end as they repeatedly tell her that no-one on the mission IS going home, though perhaps some of home may come to them. Her money payed for much of the supplies in the spaceship, thus making the government protect her a bit.
Karen Bamak In her late forties, Karen discovered a devastating weapon. It was called the Electrobomb. When a series of seventy-four chemicals were mixed in the right order at the right times over the series of six seconds, a massive ammount of electricity was released. It was too chaotic to use for power. However, it completely replaced the nuclear bomb. An Electrobomb the size of Fat Man would destroy all of Texas, if dropped in the center of Mexico. Unfortunately, a bomb was accidentally dropped during testing on the planet Milthingy I, destroying over a hundred million American civilians. Society came to extremely hate her, blaming the destruction on her. The government was willing to get rid of her in any way, and thus sent her off on the President Harry.

We have our token robot, so, our token alien- John Grintuaei An odd species, John Grintuaei is the only of his kind, found on a sattelite around a planet that broke out into nuclear war. He is roughly humanoid, but hairy and brown, and with no face or head. He has eye on his chest and two mouths, on the palms of his hands. Rather than legs, he has eight hairy tentacles that he uses as legs and secondary hands. He must wear gloves, as his handmouths release spores that could potentially impregnate humans (male and female) with his kind (he's done it before, though they didn't survive as it was a soldier in the military who was killed shortly after.) He has far stronger emotions than humans, often crying for days at running out of tissues, or feeling sickening euphoria due to recieving a piece of candy. He is under watch due to this. And the token genetically engineered man. Cellular Smith Engineered by the Ben G. Smith foundation, Cellular Smith is definitely human in mind, but not in body. He is a goopy liquid inside a robotic shell. He controls a robotic voice (creepy in how obvious it is that the words were prerecorded, seperately) and a wheeled robot with mechanical arms (highly dexterious). Though a human in mind himself, he resents humans for what they have done to him. He is sarcastic at any potential moment.

Man, that guy reminds me of MS Sam. *shivers* It would've been nice if I could participate, but I'm not sure if I could keep with the flow once the RPs in the other side that I'm currently assigned to, along with the Villain one start mobilizing. Also, I have to shuffle between the VV and Zumi so I might not be able to post regularly. Sorry for not being able to join. Though, I hope you guys enjoy. : )

And now that we have our token robot and alien, here's our token human-alien hybrid.
Martin Allenburg
Male, 21, unmarried.
Martin is a seemingly ordinary citizen, put on the expedition for no apparent reason. However, the government has diagnosed his condition and, fearing the worst, placed him as far from Earth as possible. Little does he know it, but he is a ticking time bomb. His H'qur tissue has begun to feast on his human tissue. The upside? Increased memory, calculation skills, stamina, strength, and reflexes. The downside? He'll be an unrecognisable writhing mass of tentacles in a little over a year.
What? I need to use the H'qur hybrid character some time
BTW the tally so far is
Shiplord: 9 Darth: 6 Hyper: 1
Total: 16

Interesting. Can you get Hyper to make more? Now, this next character I plan to be a "Minormajor". I've seen lots of examples of them in lots-of-characters stories. They are the character that the most thought is put into, and is typically near anything important-but never actually does anything important. Typically more durable and less killable than normal. Benjamin Gret & Charlie Gret Male, 32, married with three children Male, 8, unmarried Benjamin was a fairly average citizen until he discovered a VERY big secret that the government was hiding. Seeing no other way to guarantee it secret, they sent him out, with the one son he told before they informed him of its secrecy, on a mission he was unlikely to return from. They trust him a little bit, because they let him just sign a paper that says that he won't tell any of the other shipmates the secret. If he will follow through on this has yet to be known...
I don't plan to make any more characters until the RP begins, so its okay to doublepost I suppose.

Hal Manson
Male, 16, unmarried. Obsessive-compulsive and a perfectionist, but the best darned technician avalable. Refuses to stop a project untill the device is either working optimally or a worthless pile of scrap.

Well, since you said you wouldn't make many more, I suppose I'll have to come up with some. Bernard Querch Male, 65, divorced for the 34th time. Modern artist famous for "Extraplorating the paradigms of abstract interplanetary Post-post-modern neo-Conservative bonds between psudeo-literary magnifications of the human passive-agressive urge to imagine totalitarian euphoria in a world of predetermined anarchic dispair". He went just a little too far with his "Nuclear Bomb in the White House #1". The government bought it from him for several billion dollars and promised him that they would not turn it off to continue the artwork. Realizing that they would have to shut it off before it went off in three hours, they quickly sent him off to the President Harry before it closed and launched.
