Tylor grinned as he stepped out of the van and onto the hot asphalt. The van was parked on the side of the highway, and Eric had decided to stop the car due to a funny noise coming from the engine. Edward was about thirty feet down the road, taking a leak.
Tylor fiddled with the lighter that hung on a small chain around his neck. Eric's kid had been found, they had headed back to the tiny town, and then Eric's surviving daughter had died. Eric never mentioned how, but Tylor figured it must've been bad, because Eric was white as a sheet for the following week.
Marcus was ash, and so was Jake. Tylor had felt sad, but he knew that it was for a good cause. He didn't even want to think of the crazy bastards he had worked with heavily armed.
He finished his line of thought by flicking his lighter for a second. he turned around to look at the beaten, gray van. Eric was underneath the d**n thing now, doing repairs of some kind, probably.
He smiled and took a cigrette, lighting it with ease.
