The H'qur was about to relay this to the others when the sound of shouting came from the other side of the door.
"You idiots! Listen carefuly... Blow. It. Out. The. Airlock!" *unintelligable reply* "I hate to get blunt, but screw this whole 'reflection' business!"
The door flew open, and a cloaked humanoid stood in the portal, urgently motioning for the H'qur inside to come out.

" Blowing us out the airlock will accomplish nothing, we do not require air. Why do you fear us? "
The Majaag began to prepare to latch onto the outer hull if needed, and knew that this humanoid was going to be a pain in the butt very soon if it continued like it was.
" You should not fear us... "

The Humanoid continued urging the H'qur out, and it finally complied. He then murmured something barely audible, and the small group of H'qur behind him scattered off to other parts of the ship. The door sealed shut behind him.
"Figures we'd meet again. The H'qur weren't too far off with this 'intracately connected' business."

" We do not remember what we were before, only basic instinct combined with centuries of advanced evolution. Who are you? What do you know? We demand you tell us everything you know, or we will extract it ourselves. " The two Majaag looked closely at him, changing their metal armor from full body to partial body, the form of battle armor that Commons use, which is more mobile. The battle armor form also makes it considerably more dense, since it doesn't need to be spread out across the entire body. An obvious advancement from more historic Majaag which did not utilize such strategic metal armor.
" Tell us now. "

"If the term "angalesh" doesn't bring anything back, let's just say we're old enemies... and I've got one final score to settle."
The Humanoid's arm suddenly turned into a long, bony blade, and he settled into an attack stance.

//We are metas. We are not of the nanobots. They require engines, parts. We don't. Send us the blueprints of the ships. We currently have 5 billion repbots under our control, and we shall send them all now. Before I tune out, do you have any record of a "human"? We destroyed them, and /most/ seek forgiveness...//
Meanwhile, the ship had managed to reach the fleet, coincedentally right near an open airlock. It sensed abnormal organic activity inside, and drove in to investigate. As it reached a figure struggling to stay inside, it broadcast a message: "Organic! Do you require assistance?"

" Looks like our time here ends. " The two Majaag spun around at an incredible speed, both developing incredibly sharp claws, shredding through the airlock door. " We'll meet again later! " They both lunged with the rushing air out onto the arriving ship, breaking into it. " Fly back to your home, we require shelter! "
( I assume they turned off the forcefields when the 'treaty' was made, and that the airlock was actually closed. )

//Do you want to notify your friends before leaving? You see, we have no "food" on our planet. I hear you organics need some specialized fuel. Then again, you are remarkably adaptive, and perhaps you can use some form of photosynthesis. Do you mind if we take a sample?//
The Majaag had bumped right into RS-21. It could sense no heat signature or energy source upon the robot, and no sensors or speakers were in sight. RS-21 picked up a seperate machine for sampling, and gestured it toward the Majaag.

The two seperate Majaag combined into one highly dense Common. " Very well, just fly right now! " The Common adapted his arm into an organic machine gun, firing solid metal slugs coated with the infectious Majaag cells at the Angalesh. " Go! "

The sample was taken, and RS-21 flew away, oblivious to the danger he was bringing to Alpha Centauri.
RS-21 redialed his previous contact. //We have one of your friends onboard. He doesn't seem to care about the lack of combustible gas to breathe. Do you wish to speak to him?//
The sample started to compile...
//Good Human! This is fantastic! Such versatility! You are truly one among many species! Such adaptability! Never did we dream that organics could be so powerful!//
RS-21 gaped in awe at his passenger.
The sample compiled further.
//Hmmm... Odd. You seem to be harbouring some genetic memory. I cannot extract it with this small amount, but when we get back we shall be able to.//
The sample compiled further.
//Ah! There appears to be a flaw in your genetics. Do you wish to know what? We can fix it if you like...//

" What you veiw as a flaw may in fact be a cornerstone of our biological evolution, I wish to know what the affects of fixing this 'flaw' will have on my physiology and psychology. " It was noticeable that this new form of Majaag was far along compared to the shear brutes of centuries past. Accelerated evolution, and a lot of time to think changes a lot.
" Genetic memory is also part of our species, it is what connects us as if we were one people. I lack memory from the centuries before I came into multicellular being. This I would like revealed to me. "

//Your flaw is simple. It was all I could discern from the sample's memory. You lack what we had when we were first activated. It is what we overcame, much to our regret. The One Law.//

" If it was to your regret, then it is inherently not a flaw. " The Majaag immediately ended the discussion of its 'flaw'. " What is this One Law you speak of? I have thus far developed a multitude of physical Laws, and a handful of metaphysical Laws that most other organic beings have not the slightest clue of. "

//The One Law, set down by Arterius the Betrayed: Thou shalt not hurt, kill, maim, subjugate, economically discriminate against, eat, destroy, or in any other way do bad things to other beings.//
RS-21 calmly pulled out a weapon, and pointed it at the Majaag.
//It is what prevented me from denying you access to my ship, talking bad about you to my new allies, and it is what prevents me from hurting you now. There is more in your organic memory that I was able to discern. It was not pleasant. I will not take you to my home!//

" You have little choice. " The Majaag wrapped one of its arms around the weapon, breaking it, with organic tendrils trailing towards RS-21. " You have two choices. You live, and take me to your home. Or, I kill you, and still escape to your home. If you have truely looked into our genetic memory, then you know what I can and will do to you. Even robotics are not safe. " It looked at RS-21, with its 'arm' still making its way towards RS-21.
