The station suddenly sent a massive wall of flesh at them, forming a clawed hand in an attempt to bring them back and harvest them at the same time. Along with that, twenty Majaag Flyers formed from the walls of the station, they were propelled forward by pushing air out of their rear engines, and were armed with a number of spikes on their front. They were also larger than the Commons, and flew after the pair along with the massive clawed hand.

In a bizzare display of zero-G acrobatics, Lash pushed herself off Qynag, sending them flying in opposite directions and out of the hand's original path. Burning, slicing, and impaling their way through the oncomming Flyers, they would occasionally kick off one to change direction and disrupt the Majaag's flightpath.

" Now we end this. " The lead Common told the others. One of the Commons morphed into a massive rifle, and the Lead took aim quickly. He fired a massive slug at supersonic speed towards Lash, hoping to take her out from a direct headshot.

Reacting at the last second, Lash flung herself into a head-over-heels spin. The shot tore her right leg up, sending blood and tissue finging through space. She silently cried out in pain as she continued spinning helplessly. Qynag saw this out of the corner of his eye and began making his way towards her, kicking off Flyers and avoiding the grasp of the massive hand that still lay between them.

" I suspect that this one is a mate of the female. It shall be an easy target, distracted by the female's pain... " The Lead took aim and fired another round at Qynag's head, with intent to completely obliterate. More flyers began to swarm them, along with the hand readjusting course.

Qynag expected the Majaag to think he had stong feelings for Lash. People allways suspected that they were bonded. Not yet, anyway... just friends for now. He kept one eye trained on the Leader, and just after the barrel was lined up with him, he flung off an arc of bone, altering his direction and slicing into the massive hand. The shot missed, and he reached Lash. She had allready started healing, and he grasped her hand, partially to carry her along with him, and partially to supply some energy of his own to the process.

" GRAAHHH!!!! " The Leader silently yelled, and began firing round after round of the rifle with the assistance of the Majaag itself. Far off in the distance, a medium-sized non-organic ship was slowling down. The entire swarm and the hand withdrew, changing into weapons as the space station morphed into warship.

Qynag did his best to avoid the shots, but a single one tore off his arm just below the sholder. Half-unconcious with pain, Lash took up he task of keeping them safe. She spotted the ship out of the corner of her eye, and began maneuvering them towards it.

The ship began to fire a main cannon at the space station, as the space station also unleashed its rounds into the ship. The Leader continued firing, never giving up. The ships began to go close, going for an all-out side-to-side barrage.

Doing her best to steer them away from the cross-fire, Lash took the long way around to the ship, comming within it's sensor range long after the battle had grown heated.

The metal ship had begun firing napalm rounds, resulting in the retreat of the Majaag ship, and an angry Majaag on-board. The ship didn't seem to notice the two at all, only went about repairs and communication with headquarters.

The pair finally latched onto the ship, crawling along the surface as best they could with their wounds. Qynag had decided to give up on his shattered arm for now, and it remained only a healed stump. Lash's leg was doing much better, but it still gave her a severe limp. They finally reached what looked like a hatch and began knocking on the hull.

A few minutes went past, and eventually the hatch opened to an airlock. The lights were on, and beyond the window of the internal door, something akin to walking squids in clothing were scuttling about. The roof was only four feet from the ground, being that Koans were only three feet tall.

Lash and Qynag ducked into the open airlock, shrinking their height to accomodate the small room. Though still humanoid in form, Lash peered through the window at the squid-beings, taking careful note should they be overtly reacive towards aliens.

All the Koans near the window saw Lash, and immediately froze. This caused a chain reaction of Koans running into the frozen Koans, and on and on. A fight suddenly started, as this was a major inconvience to the technicians needing to get on their way. Tentacles were lashing around everywhere, until one eventually hit the "OPEN" button the airlock, exposing the two to the hoard. While the two didn't know it, the electromagnetic waves in the air signalled that there was a lot of cursing going on, even if the only thing they heard was the fighting.
