" Hmm. Seems you're in a tough position. You can stay here a while if you like. This particular group has mutated to lose the Koan ability to kill without need. " He continued working on Qynag, " As for leaving this place, I'm not sure if I'll be able to orchestrate the takeover of what is apparently an FTL craft. "

"I think it is best if we laid low for now. They probably think we're dead anyway."
"~Sippin' jewlfruit puree...~" Qynag mumbled as he surfaced briefly from unconsuosness.
"And my friend here, though probably not thinking straight, feels we should simply stay here."

" Very well. It would be best, though it may not be long before they figure out where you went, and the simply fact that there were no bodies that look like you I suppose. He'll need constant attention for a bit, he's got some internal bleeding, broken limbs, among other things. " The Doctor then motioned to the tribalistic Koan to escort Lash to a small room, which was incredibly large for a Koan. Apparently these primitives weren't so minimalistic, not having 3x3x3 boxes to hibernate in.

As Lash nodded off into a much needed nap, she began composing a message to the council, should it ever reform...
After proving to be at least on the darker side of neutral in their alignment check, I believe that this is more of a case of nurture than nature. Apon encountering a more primitive civilization of the same species, I have decided their evils are a result of history, and thus can be overcome in time. The fact that these tribal Koans are possibly led by a modern one further cements this theroy.
In short, I believe that they should be guided, now that they have FTL of alien origin, though preferably by Qyen diplomats.

Once Lash woke up, she may have walked in to witness that the Doctor had finished patching up Qynag, and Koa dressed in all black approached him. " So, it's to be done, then? " The Doctor took out a small briefcase from a crevice, and gave it to the black-clad Koa. The Koa opened it, revealing a number of high-grade daimonds. He then removed the top containing the daimonds, revealed to only be a decoy, looking down at a number of documents involving the Senate and Jaka'Nua at a meeting, along with leaders from other civilizations. A picture of what they appear to looking at is an advanced FTL drive, that seems to be new.

Lash watched the transaction in silence, trying to discern what was going on. She studied the diagrams of the new FTL as best as she could from her distance, but could not find exactly where it was changed. It simply looked different to her.

She noticed that a newspaper in the picture had a date nearly three decades old.
" This will be most beneficial to our cause, Mr. Long. I must leave now, and your payment will be brought here soon enough. These false war will come to an end, and we will reign victorious. " The black-clad Koa then calmly left, and Mr.Long returned to his duties.

Lash sighed quietly. More power struggles?, she thought as she returned to her room. Then, several minutes later, came back out again, looking as if she'd just woken up.
"How is he?" she asked, indicating Qynag.

" He's fine. I may also have gotten a ship to get us all off this god forsaken planet. This solar system is bad luck, I can feel it in my bones. It always has been, always will be. " He was sitting with tentacles withdrawn, on a ten-legged chair.

"If we do make it off, I must warn you that space isn't without it's dangers too. Both natural and sapient-made."

" You think I don't know that? I was the first AstroKoan in space. I led a mission to the moons! I witnessed the secret creation of FT- " Mr.Long suddenly stopped talking, and shut up. " We will leave soon. "

"I'm not sure I'll ever understand your need for secrecy, but for now I'll go along with it." She sighed.
"To go where?" Qynag suddenly moaned. "Leaving to go where?"

" To find your friend, that's where. And don't think we know about it, we know everything, they know everything, we just don't act on it. " A sudden shaking of the earth signalled that their ship had arrived, and Mr.Long began leading them to an extremely high-tech hangar hidden in the ground, a world apart from the tribal city that surrounded it. Up above, the hangar door shut closed quickly, covered with what looked like unmoved rock and sand to make it less obvious.
Mr.Long and the pilot exchanged a strange tentacle-greeting, and then Mr.Long motioned for them to get into the small passenger ship. It looked much like a dropship, far beyond known Koan technology, but at the same time it looked interstellar-capable. He went inside, sitting down in the co-pilot's seat.
The back had a small eating area, and rest area, along with a few bedrooms. It was extremely cramped though.

Lash laid Qynag down on one of the beds, careful not to bump either of his injured limbs.
"Good news *groan* is that we get to atend anyway..." Qynag muttered before slipping back asleep again.
Lash made sure he was comfortable, then went off to get something to eat

The ship rose out of the hangar, and turned on its electronic cloak. The basic sensors of the Koans could no longer detect the craft, and it was safe. The pilot put in the coordinates, and initiated the FTL drive as the ship existed the atmosphere. A far off Alliance cruiser was fighting with a F.I.N. cruiser, and both reported the ship as an anomaly. Mr.Long said into the intercom, " The trip will take about a day, your friend is quite the distance away, so rest up everyone. " He retreated to his room to hibernate.
