Tools for creation

If you reach a mental block, or wish to create a awesome picture but don't have the sufficient tools, then this is the thread for you. Existing members can add their own tools and share them, and eventually we'll have a comprehensive list. I'll start off:

• Bryce 5.5 (free)
  
• Gimp (free)
  
• MS photoeditor (Yes, I know its stupid, but if you know how to work it, you can make wonders with it. How do you think I do my textures ?
  
• Astrosynthesis trial version (free) -comes with fractal terrain editor, but you cannot save sectors or planet maps for either.
  
• Paint (Easy and simple way to add text to a finished drawing)
  
• Various sci-fi books and stories to get inspiration from.
  

I admit, some of the items are a bit of a stretch, and none have links for a moment, but as more members add items we can organize it better.

I use MSPowerpoint for my creations.

And yeah, I think Spore's Editors would be quite useful when it comes to building stuff.

Those are pretty valuable. Sometimes, when I'm stuck for a name, I use those random word generators to give me something to build off of.
