As the three million sixhundred and fiftytwo thousand three hundred sixty-eighth president of the world, you only have one day left in your term, and you have been in office for a total of one day. (Your term only lasts two days, leaving the people in a constant election. The term limit is one term, so this is your only chance to be president.)
You stand up tall. Your name is Bert McBar. You belong to the Irrelevant party, and you hope that in tomorrow's election you party will defeat the Unimportant party. You know that a long time ago, the planet Earth had issues, but now nearly everything has been solved, the only remaining question being of WHO would be the leader of the government.
You're hoping that this speech will raise your chances.
You see, you've been invited to give the speech at the first power plant that runs on Define. The Head of Science refused to define Define, but from what you understand it's the barrier between realities. There are some worries that major negative effects could come from using Define as energy, but scientists have dismissed them all.
"As I cut this ribbon, I will bring this universe into a new age of energy." You take out your laser scissors and sever the red ribbon. You hear a snip, immeadiately followed by a different sound. It sounds something like the sound made when you poke a tiny hole in a baloon and it zips around the room, combined with the sound you know all too well of what occurs when you drop a frying egg into a small black hole.
The large, somewhat cylindrical building behind you suddenly collapses, and a sort of thing that is there and isn't there at the same time began expanding out of it. You were only it's first victim.

You don't know who you are. You actually know very little, very little indeed. You know that you were deposited here, wrapped in strange materials. You are sitting in a large forest. Others like you lie around you, in similar clothes, also unconscous.
You begin to sort of recall some things, but not all. You still have no idea on what actually has occurred, or who you are, but you begin to realize that you can stand up, and move your legs in a way that results in walking. You revive those around you.
Next, you remember how to communicate. Those around you seem to understand the English that you speak. The English is somewhat warped, and within days it changes to something else entirely. You seem to be a natural leader, and you begin to form something called a society with those around you.
