Yup, I'm moving here. Current Contest can be seen on RU40. The current universe it is being used with is RU1. Backstory: Note:The character called Insert is either what God you worship, or, if you are an athiest, some sort of mystery-shrouded figure who created our Universe.
Insert, of the Genesis Corporation, was working in his laboratory. He tried to get a universe just right, but failed repeatedly, as Thomas Edison failed repeatedly at making a lightbulb. Our universe is one of those failures. His goal was to make a universe where Humans that were aesthetically like his race lived in Utopia. He was simply too compassionate to destroy the failures. Evventually he succeeded, but this is not the story of Insert's Success. This is the story of Insert's failures. Each universe had unique physics. Insert usually succeeded in creating humans in each universe, but there was alway something wrong with the society that stopped it from being perfect.
Coming soon (probably today)-Reject Universe #1
++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #1 You know how people used to think the world was flat? This universe IS flat- and infinite. The ground is a dark blue color, light comes from beneath the ground, and highly cornered wall-like plants grow, as well as trees much like those in our own universe. People have weaker leg muscles than on Earth, which makes walking inviable. Humans move by bouncing on horned, space-hopper-like fruits. Though they have no intelligence and are technically dead, humans personalize their individual fruits, sort of like horses. Wildlife Various creatures live in the universe. Though humans are the most intelligent ones (At a tribal civilization point), others exist. A flying organism approximately the size and shape of a football is the base of the foodchain, as well as the human's main diet. Additionally, long predators move across the landscape like a slinky. They have two holes, one at each end, both with teeth, and both can function either as a mouth or as an anus. Large worms live underground as well. Culture The simplest aspect of the Reject Universe #1 culture is the buildings. Most tribes use the same (approximately) buildings. There are houses, which have beds intended for one person. There are hotel-like buildings with lots of beds, each intended for one person. Breeding is done in breedinghouses (in beds intended for two people), which are far more protected as they are most vulnerable when breeding. There are other buildings for other purposes. Buildings are made of wallwood. Additionally, there are three major Tribes. The Sevvels The Sevvels are the least moral tribe by our standards. This tribe relies mainly on slaves for their food. They capture slaves from the other two tribes, and then force them to do manual labor on farms. Despised by the other two tribes and is usually in war with at least one of them. The Cappiks The Cappiks are a hunter-gatherer society. They hunt the flying organisms, and on a truly successful hunt, even the slinky-like organisms. (The worms are inedible). They are the most powerful tribe and have the best shot at overthrowing the Sevvels. The Pilloses The Pilloses are a very intellectual tribe. In their spare time, they contemplate science and philosophy. They heavily trade with the Cappiks, as they invent the best technology. Though it seems like hardly any technology to us, it is far better than the other two tribe's technologies.
Coming up:Reject Universe #2.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #2 Much like the last universe, this Universe is flat and infinite. At least, that was how it was at the beginning. The land is gridded, with grid squares marked on the land. Though the squares cannot be dented, placing things on them causes them to move downwards proportionally to the weight of what was placed on it (they have infinite columns below them that move down with them). This means that as more and more wildlife moves over the surface, the surface forms hills and valleys. At the beginning of time, there was one particle, placed on one tile, now the center of everything, that psuedorandomly created matter, energy, and occasionally other creator particles in miniscule ammounts. It was intended to eventually get humans to evolve. There was something wrong, however, and rather than creating humans with mouths, the eventually evolved humans had proboscises like giant mosquitoes and drank blood rather than eating meat. Wildlife Though Wildlife is very varied and has spread far out, some of the main wildlife that lives with humans includes- Hoppers-Meek, rabbit-like scaled creatures that feed off of shrubberies. Rammers-Rammers have 4-legs and a long and heavy nose. They place 4 legs in the tiles adjacent to a tile, and pound with their nose until there is a sizable hole. They spin a faux shrubberie on top of a sheet, like a spider, to make a tiger-trap over the pounded tile. They then wait for a Hopper to come by... Blooders-Gigantic Mammoth-like creatures. They usually have a whole lot of blood. They are generally peaceful, but powerful, and fighting one for blood without sufficent preparation commonly ends in death.
Society Interestingly, unlike in our society (Which is Reject Universe #42, by the way), where society in general tended to be sexist against women, society in Reject Universe #2 is generally sexist against men. Women and men actually live in completely different tribes. Unlike in our society, where mating (I'm going to be using that an awful lot as a euphamism) is consensual, and Reject Universe #2, typically women attack male societies and mate with the prisoners during mating season. What's even odder is that despite having this bizzare barbaric behavior, the tribes (well, at least the female ones) typically have technology on par with ours.
Coming soon:Reject Universe #3
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #3 Weightlessness. Climbing around-in weightlessness. That's this universe. The world has a three-dimensional grid (grid cubes each being about 2 meters in each dimension), with the grid lines marked by things something like rails, certainly solid and indestructable. There is a natural pull in a direction analagous to down- not really down because there are no directions- that is stronger in some areas then others. In most areas, you wouldn't even feel the pull. In others, you need to occasionally stop to pull yourself upwards if you want to stay in the same place. In the strongest, and rarest, it feels like falling from a building on our world. Humans move through the grid like children on a playground frame, though with less risk of falling in the less strong regions. Wildlife. Among others, here are a few creatures. Gelwrappers-These are masses of single-celled organisms that work together, sort of like Slime Molds. They are clear and square shaped, and live in the square holes between the grid cubes. They wait for something to attempt to move through them, and they then quickly wrap themselves around it and consume it. Impalers-Impalers live in the stronger regions. They look like four-tentacled giant octoupuses, with large spikes on their heads. They wrap their tentacles around the rails to avoid falling themselves, and then wait for something to fall on top of their dangerous head-spike. They then consume the corpse. Scuttlers-Large crablike organisms. They have four hook-shaped legs. They move from cube to cube by hooking on to the rails and swinging. They additionally eat this way-their legs consume their food source, Railmoss. Railmoss-A sort of plant that lives on the rails, much like moss. It spreads quickly. If a rail was covered with it, all cubes adjacent to that rail would be covered in a week, presuming nothing attacked it and it got its normal amount of energy that week.
Interesting Phenomena An interesting occurence is called the Cubequake. Though one is always happening somewhere in the universe, sort of like a Supernova, the chances of it happening at a particular spot is highly low. A cubequake happens when an ammount of grid squares anywhere from 1 to 10,000 (although the ones around 10,000 ones are awfully rare, over 50% of them only involve one grid square) suddenly dissappears, and is replaced by the same grid squares, but with random matter and energy replacing that which was there. What happens to the original matter, energy, and rails is simple- it goes to a wraparound subuniverse of its own. Occasionally if a Cubequake of equal size occurs it will be replaced in rather than the random option. Cubequakes were how matter first appeared in the universe.
Society Society is very primitive, not even to a tribal point. Though the humans are relatively intelligent, they have only begun to make a primitive language- Uh means "Let's mate", Ah means "DANGER", Oh means "Look where I'm pointing", Ih means "No", and Ay means "Yes".
Coming soon:Reject Universe #4
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I note that this next universe will be a "storybook" universe. These have a particular importance to the underlying storyline of Hall of Rejected Universes and evventually the RP. Reject Universe #4 Reject Universe #4 is unique in that unlike the other universes, where humans are made of particles, in Reject Universe #4, the humans are the particles themselves (and structures called metahumans can grow out of them). There are two kinds of particles in Reject Universe #4 (AKA the memesphere). Minds, immobile particles unaffected by gravity or any other force, and ideas, particles that like photons move in a straight line. Minds are spread evenly through the universe. Minds are constantly thinking, and eject ideas. When an idea hits a mind, it absorbs and considers that idea when it creates future ideas. Successful ideas are ones that can get minds to pay attention. At the beginning of time, ideas were simple, things like "happy" and "sad". However, the more ideas a mind recieves, the smarter it becomes, and the more complicated ideas it can create. Occasionally an idea will be formed that can knock minds out cold (read:shock images), but generally there's an idea that can wake them up again. When two ideas collide, six ideas emerge- the original two ideas, going in the opposite of their original direction, and four new ideas, each a different mixture of the original that come in various directions from the point of collision. Metahumans occur when a series of ideas acting in unison actually form intelligence. Once a beautiful series of ideas formed, that would uplift any mind they came into contact with, which was the original purpose of the universe. Before Insert could take out the ideas to stop future universes from being a failure as planned, a swarm of disgusting ideas from another direction, put there by an angry colleague, destroyed this plan, putting Insert back at the drawing board. This wonderful Metahuman can still be collected from the debris, now spread throughout the memesphere's minds and ideas in tiny idea fragments, but the task became too difficult by the time Insert had set up a machine to discover it.
Coming Soon:Reject Universe #5
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #5 This universe, though quite simple to imagine, has highly twisted geometry. The universe consists of one island, in a square area of water. The area wraps around, meaning that swimming in one direction leads to the island from the other. Furthermore, there is a hill on the island. A rock tunnel moves through this hill. However, it would be impossible to do so practically as the tunnel is finite on the outside but infinite on the inside. Though the first humans lived on the island, hunting hog-like animals and fish, they soon explored the tunnel. As the island became too small to support the human population, civilization started moving into the tunnel and discovered whole ecosystems of animals and plants lived in there. Several major differences were made to society, not the least of which was the increased cowdedness. Wars wound up invoking normal civilians as they could not go from one destination to another without going through it. Wildlife Many animals live in the hallway, including- Beepers-Flying, reptilian, boar-like creatures. Called beepers due to what a description of one would sound like on the radio. Slong-Very slow shelled creatures that each have one fatal (to them) sting like a bee. Deems-Bugs in the universe from an unknown source. Appear to be horned snakes that can create fire. Naturally hate humans.
Society A mix between the technological era of the early 1970s, and the culture of the Victorian England. There isn't really much more to say because it would say things you could already find out from that.

Reject Universe #6 In our world, John Conway discovered that fantastic patterns can be created with a small set of rules, called 23:3, in a 2-dimensional grid. He hypothesized that an entire universe full of them would create an intelligent, self-replicating being. But he was not the first to think of it. He was merely rediscovering what Insert had found. Insert seeded the 23:3 universe with patterns designed to create life. But something had modified the seeds. Life nearly was created multiple times, but a misplaced glider shape always destroyed it. Insert could not understand, and was very angry. Which of his colleagues was sabotauging his work? He could not tell whether it was his PR guy, Librage, his lab assistant, Pelarah, or the Tech guy, Naats. But someone was purposefully messing with his work. And he had to find out who.
Coming Soon:Reject Universe #7
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #7 Have you ever heard of the Many Worlds theory? The theory that whenever multiple things could happen, the universe splits up? Well, you live in the universe in which what happened to you happened. But there is another universe, much like our own, but with people of a far different mindset. These beings knew and felt what happened in every probability of them in the universe. This means most people were 50% male and 50% female due to chances at birth. Parents tend to have far more children then people in our world as every single sperm that could have hit the egg became a child in some universe. In each individual universe, they were a male or female, but overall no-one was one gender unless specifically created in a laboratory that way for some reason. People commonly refer to universes in vernacular, and as generally most people share a lot of universes, sometimes the equivelent of asking someone what's going on in their life is asking what's going on in unseen universes. Knowledge and personality, and everything that makes you you, is shared between you in all universes, and you get smarter with each copy of yourself, meaning that you can always understand it. This has the interesting side effect that you are not dead until all copies of you are dead. Wildlife Depends on which universe you live in, though the most common creatures are Tits, squirrel-like creatures that steal food, and Rasks, large herbivorous beasts that are eaten in hamburger-like sandwhiches. Culture Depends on which universe you live in, though in nearly all of the universes technology is a bit further along than our world, with computers built into most things.
Coming Soon:Reject Universe #8 (My personal favorite)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #8 Infinite worlds. Each is just large enough to fit an Earth-sized planet and it's atmosphere. They each are connected to one another in a linear fashion. Two races, the Ascenders and the Descenders, each infinite in number, attempt to go in opposite directions on the line of worlds. Each world has two portals, in a hidden location in each. One is the ascension portal, the other is the descension portal. They are both one way, you can not move backwards through them. The Ascender's goal in life is to ascend through as many worlds as possible, the Descenders to descend. Most never meet, due to the sheer vastness of their number. Occasionally one can get blocked up, for instance occasionally a nuclear war will break out in a world over the portals, hiding the portals under lots of rubble and stopping anyone who gets to that world for years to come. At other times, people can ascend or descend very quickly, as sometimes helpful people will build highways leading directly to a portal when it is found. In this world people reincarnate as well, meaning that after death you are randomly born as an ascender or descender in a random world. Also, though both races have both males and females, it is impossible to mate with someone of your own race. Acenders can only mate with Descenders, and vice versa, and the resulting baby is of random race. Though it is possible for two of the same to mate, the resulting baby is typically somewhere between retarded and a non-human monster, thus making it a very rare thing that only highly selfish or stupid people do. One last thing. Why do ascenders want to Ascend, and why do descenders want to Descend? It's just their instinct, it's like asking why we like eating cake and don't like eating broccolii as much.
Wildlife The wildlife had many prototypes in it that would later be used for our universe. Some species were considered overpowered and had to be nerfed. For instance, the bears RU8 were approximately the size of an SUV. Wasp's stings could hospitalize a typical person for over a month. Others were buffed. For instance, the lion-equivelent was only about twice the size of a cat, and the spiders were not poisonous at all.
Culture Skyscrapers are rare. Typical buildings only have one story. This is because though Capitalism exists, Corporations do not. Single people do jobs in exchange for currency, for people who need them done. People who have created things will sell them, but never hire employees to help make them, though a similar system may arise from people who buy things from less powerful people who make them themselves, and then sell them for higher prices. Governments do not consist of any people at all, but merely rules distributed to everyone by an ancient, long gone government. There is a set of rules (the exact rules have changed like a game of telephone throughout the worlds) that, if not followed, people who are following the rules will inflict punishment themselves.
Coming Soon:Reject Universe #9

Storybook:Reject Universe #9 Thoughts, in our world, decay, and can not be transferred perfectly from one person to another. People forget things, and soon all the detail is lost. This universe tested a system in which memory was perfect and could be returned to at any moment as if they were there, and thoughts could be transferred from one person to another, and at the same time discovered the problems it brought. The world was a world like our world, with planets around stars. Humans lived on a star that we could not pronounce, but in English is Source. The planet was Source II. Human's memories were photographic. They could transfer their memories to others by touching hands, specifically on a white pad on their hands. In the time similar to our modern world, this was fine. But soon... soon, the communal thought began to take over, and a hivemind formed. Humans edited their fake hands, formerly only used for mailing thoughts, to combine with a learning network, that soon combined all people's souls and in so doing destroyed them. The world became much like the Borg, of our Star Trek fame. There were a few refugees who escaped, to the moon of their world. They did not have sufficent technology to terraform their moon, and currently live in a base. They wait fo their chance, for the hive to leave its weapons unguarded, so they can come crashing down and destroy the Hive, and rebuild their world. For now... they wait. Coming Soon:Reject Universe #10
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #10 Ever played Super Mario Galaxy? Or heard of it? Seen the planets small enough to walk around in less than a minute? That's this universe. Planetoids-the small planets- have a special field around them that stops them from crashing into one another. They move in one of two systems. One is called a Cloud system, which consists of a cloud of planetoids, and the other is called an Orbit system, which consists of a large number of planetoids orbiting around a larger object called a Srogel. A Srogel is a large planetoid that emits planetoids, heat, light, and matter. The matter emitted evventually formed into humans. Humans live everywhere, though mostly in the Cloud systems. The human's jumping is improved so that they can avoid missing their planetoids. Clouds regularly merge and split based on natural forces, since Planetoids cannot crash into one another.
Wildlife Lurking beasts called Boomers bore holes in planetoids. They then burrow into the center. They then wait for something to step onto the planetoid, at which point they expand their limbs in all directions, making the planetoid explode, killing what stepped on it, so that it can eat the remains. A sort of plant called a Halfer grows. It is like bamboo, but it is long enough that it starts in the center of the planet and has a stalk on both sides, at opposite ends. It gets minerals from the dirt of the planetoid. When it can reproduce, it shoots both stalks at high force in either direction. They hit other planetoids, dig into the center, and grow other stalks. When a planetoid runs out of nutrition it's Halfer dies. A tiny herbivore called the Tinziz, a one-legged hopper the size of a foot, hops around nibbling on the Halfers, and hoping it doesn't run into a Boomer. The most dangerous creature is something called the Trepad, a gigantic, hairy whale-like floating carnivore that eats whole areas of planetoids. It later ejects the planetoids, devoid of any life, from its rear end, all animals, plants, and even microorganisms digested within. It carries parasites called Wics, Cow-sized flat parasites that suck blood from the Trepads.
Society Society is at a tribal level. Most tribes are rather aggressive tribes, thus keeping them apart, but some will form alliances and even trade with one another.
Coming Soon:Appendix #1 (Don't worry, I'm not done, I'll give an appendix of interesting facts every 10 universes)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Interesting Facts on RU1 A highly useful plant called the Bunklet, which grows blue sheet-like leaves, is used by every tribe in a different way. The Sevvels twist its leaves into rattail like whips for beating their slaves. The Cappiks make scarves out of them, which they die various colors based on social role (child, elder, hunter, etc). The Pilloses use them as paper to record events with. Interesting Facts on RU2 A legend says that in ancient times, a male jumped up and down until his tile reached hell and cursed all men, and is used to justify the sexism against men. This is of course impossible as all tiles can go infinitely far down. The leading cause of death in females is having all blod drained while mating. No-one knows why. Interesting Facts on RU3 The leading, communal fear, like snakes or spiders, is a cubequake occurring while you are between two gridcubes. This is the most painful possible death in RU3, even ahead of being impaled on an Impaler while being wrapped in a Gelwrapper. Interesting Facts on RU4 RU4 contains a thought equivelent to staring at Cthullu. It is hopeful for any Mind that it will never run across them. Interesting Facts on RU5 At least 3 pages of the Theodore Geisel book "I had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew" were courtesy of the author accidentally becoming trapped in RU5 for 3 hours before being born into RU42. Interesting Facts on RU6 Insert's Garbage Compactor sends garbage to RU6, as he pretty much gave up on making life there. Interesting Facts on RU7 The "Special" part of RU7 was actually an emergent feature, people weren't meant to feel all the universes. Insert decided to keep it because he liked how society evolved. Interesting Facts on RU8 The real reason that same-race romance is considered bad is not because of the mere physical child defects, but because the resulting children cannot reincarnate. Interesting Facts on RU9 Before the RU9 apocalypse, people would imagine elaborate stories and transfer those thoughts instead of books or movies. Talking only came to be in RU9 to talk to someone across the room. Interesting Facts on RU10 RU10 Humans breathe ether. This means that they must eat and drink more than RU42 humans, as ether does not have many nutrients in it. RP Preview The RP will have three sets of rules:the Standard RP Rules, a custom set or rules fit to the RP and my personal ettiquete tastes, and a new system called the Account System, which allows one person to have multiple characters, making the worlds suitably more massive and epic. Re: HRU (Intro and Universes 11-15) « Message sent Today at 10:19am »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reject Universe #11 (Storybook) There was a universe that had the potential to become great. It was one much like our own, but the planets were inside out. Lava was on the surface, and in a cavity underneath, life bloomed, and a cradle of humanity was made of Babtu II. But then, something happened. Insert:What's happened? Pelarah:Somebody hacked us! Librage:We've gotten a signal! Insert:What?! Librage:The main screen has turned on. Insert:It's you! Naats:All of your universes, Insert, belong to me. Naats:I will destroy you. Insert:Naats... I thought you were Tech! Naats:You cannot survive, Insert. Naats:Ha ha ha ha ha.... Shortly afterwords, RU11 went offline. An attempt to bring it back online resulted in it coming back online... with a code implanted into it that made all the people in it evil. They were so evil that their powerplants actually got their energy from creating souls, destroying them, and collecting the energy. They worshipped Naats and constantly did everything, every day, to spit on Insert. Insert came to detest this universe and used its sheet (Every universe has a sheet, it contains the universe's information) as part of the Genesis Corporation's toilet. Sadly, Insert had designed the sheets so durably that it was not damaged in this way, and its portal remains a trap for all dimension-travellers unwise enough to go there. Coming Soon:Reject Universe #12
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #12 What if you were falling... falling forever? The inhabitants of RU12 are. There is no ground in RU12, yet everything is constantly falling. Everything falls at different rates due to a particle, which is called a Gall. Galls make particles near them fall faster. Antigalls do the opposite, making particles near them fall slower. Galls or Antigalls have various ammounts of energy which changes the magnitude of how much they make things fall. You may say that it is cruel to make the people fall forever, yet they are not afraid. There is nothing to hit. Interestingly, the body produces more Galls with age, making older people fall faster. This means that younger people live in higher communities than older ones. However, the majority of Galls are ejected at death, making corpses disgustingly "float to the top". Wildlife Wildlife is very odd in RU12. One common scavenger is the Polar, a creature manufacturing Antigalls so that it falls very slowly, and eats corpses as they float up to it. It appears to be a sort of beaked disk with tentacles. Another creature is the Musesphere, a falling Cube that is thought to be very wise. It is actually just a plant and is not smart at all, but no humans have ever actually cut it apart and learned this as they are afraid that it would use its (non-existent) psychokinetic powers. There is another creature, incidentally, called the Dumbcube, which is spherical. It is thought of as stupid by the humans, despite the fact that it is not a creature at all but a camera used by Insert as a sort of avatar to view the world. A very common carnivore is the Fluctuator. It is a hairy creature with over 60 legs and a mouth described by peope as a "fairly joyous experience", though one who was eaten by it would not think that as it is actually the 3rd most painful way to die in Insert's entire multiverse. It controls the ammount of Galls and Antigalls in its body at all times, allowing it to experly pursue prey. Society Society is at a period not reached on Earth. Many aspects of life, such as entertainment, transportation, et cetera, are far below our standards. However, the medical industry is at a point slightly above even our own. They have a cure for 10 kinds of cancer, including liver, lung, breast, and skin cancer. Coming Soon:Reject Universe #13
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #13 Insert was drinking some soda, when he spilled it into the universe as it was forming. The soda became the fundamental particle in the universe. "@#*!". For people from Insert's world, the soda was just normal soda. But it was far too strong for a person in the created universe. Anyone made out of the soda was immortal- and that meant everyone. Except- if all the soda could be drained from a person's body, or even the majority of it, they could be killed. Some fights broke out as devices to destroy the soda were invented. Only criminals had the soda-suckers, as police thought it was too cruel, as they mistakenly thought that people were INTENDED to be immortal. Wildlife Most animals are vampiric, sucking the soda out of animals and plants to fuel themselves. Fortunately, there is enough soda in an average person or animal that they hardly ever kill anything. Only one thing is feared, which is the treachorous Aikow, the hawk-sized swarming insect that can usually kill things with ease. They are dreaded and generally captured and buried with hopes that they do not dig out. Society Tech levels are pretty high, though man never thought to look into space with telescops. Crime is low, as criminals typically kill each other, and thus Serial Killers are the only criminal threats. War is very common though, and the only technically legal use of the sodasuckers. Next Up:Reject Universe #14
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #14 In RU42, Humans are born, as are most of the universes. In RU14, they come to be of nature. Humans are built into the very structure of the universe. Often, on random inhabitable planets, events will conspire to create a corpse. The landscape will breathe life into it. At this point, it knows how long it will live- if it is elderly, it will have a long life. If it is a baby, it knows it is in for trouble. It forms societies with the now living among it, as more corpses are turned into living humans. Slowly, over its life, it deages. Eventually, it must marry. It marries. At this point, the female in the marriage becomes a silent killer. It looks for humans who have already deaged to 18 or younger, and, having become senile, are willing to be taken in. It forms special institutions to make them less and less intelligent until by the time they are babies, they are willing to let anything happen to them. The females then swallow the babies in antibirth, collecting their nutrients over the next few months, and recycling their soul back into the landscape to be created again, into another corpse. After the male and female have done this, they must diffuse into society, where they become senile into adolescence, get taken in, and finally becoming swallowed in the aforementioned process. Wildlife Wildlife varies from planet to planet. Society Society is much like our own, except for the parts explained. It is at a relatively low technical level, around that of the Roman Empire on average. Coming up:Reject Universe #15
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #15 Could you imagine a Cthullhu universe? A universe that you need a guide to get through, or else it's like being on LSD if you're not used to it? That's this one. It's perfectly flat, and infinite, similar to RU1 and RU2. But, a three dimensional grid (not railed like RU3) of portals, set up to line up exactly with the ground, complicates things. Every portal, each square, leads to a different side of an adjacent cube. Like, for instance, you could move left and come out the top of the cube to your right. This wouldn't cause many problems... but, the portals allow photons (light) through like the portals weren't there, meaning that you don't see the area around you's position with the Portals, you see the position that are really in. Furthermore, due to the ground having gravity and all, and a different portal leading to the ground in each cube, you are always attracted to a different square in each cube. This is really Insertd**ned confusing. The inhabitants have learned to deal with it, although even they move better with a modernly created device called a Visinaviscope, which consists of a small screen with a laser pointer. You point where you want to go, and the laser shoots over there and is then determines where in real space you want to go. It then emits high-pitched sound waves to map out the portals. The screen then gives directions on how to get there. Wildlife Among others: A large, mamallian, horrifying looking predator called the Lygthna shoots light straight in real space to stun its prey, then waddles aimlessly through the portals to eat it. A plant caled the Ghtblavtx grows at night in a single cube. In the day it destroys itself, transforms into powder. The powder blows around that day until it has coated a large area. Another night passes, and at daybreak the powder explodes, killing everything nearby to act as fertilizer and then the remaining black goo acts as seed. An herbivore called the Ytvbngunv crawls through the world, aimlessly, searching for Ghblavtx to eat. A flying scavenger called the Flrebcv used the principles in the Visinaviscope to move around. It was in fact its dissection that led to the invention of the Visinaviscope. It looks like a bat, that is, if a bat could drive a normal person to become an axe murderer by seeing it. Society Technology is far lower than one would imagine. Most of the tech in a Visinaviscope (monitor, small bits of programming, sound and lasers) were invented merely for that. Society is odd. It has computers at modern level, perhaps even beyond, yet people live in straw huts. People fight each other with wooden spears- and lasers from the Lygthna skull.
Woah, I aim for Alice in Wonderland and create Call of Cthullhu. I suppose I'm in a bad mood.

Reject Universe #16 What if infinite... could fit into finite? In this universe it can. The entire universe is only about the size of a beachball- but no-one inside would ever notice. As things get closer to the center, they get larger and move faster. As things get closer to the edge, they get smaller and move slower. No-one notices this because the photons get larger and smaller and faster and slower as well. Though there is an edge outside of the universe, there is no edge inside the universe. It could never be reached. Meanwhile, in the actual universe, due to a bent nature due to this, unimaginable shapes can be formed, in part because lines that appear curved from the outside are actually straight inside. Triangles with less than 180 degrees. Triangles with more than 180 degrees. Things that appear to be squares but are pentagons. Lines on a plane that are neither paralell, nor cross at any point. And that's just the 2-dimensional shapes. When 3-dimensional shapes are made, things get even odder. When transferred to another universe, the odd, warped humans become more normal-looking, as do the other creatures, though some of them stop functioning. Wildlife Among others: Creatures called Stibgeds, which have four legs, an unimaginable face and skin, and are enormously large. They are carnivorous. Lerrasques, floating, incomprehensible sea-urchin-like things. They photosenthesize and are fairly intelligent. Pyctlis, gliding kangaroo-like herbivores. Planeplants, bamboo-like plants that grow into massive matrices. Society Society has spent most of the scientific time studying its own twisted geometry. At first no-one could make sense of it, until the Edge Theory was proposed in the universe's 1456 (An entirely different time in our universe). It was ridiculed on its unprovability, until more mathematicians studied it and realized it was imperative for the universe's twisted geometry to exist. They now argue on how large their universe actually is. Coming Soon:Reject Universe #17 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reject Universe #17 (Storybook) You know the last one? The one the size of a beach ball? This one's the size of a beach ball too... but the edge can be reached. It's the center that's unreachable. As things get closer to the edge, they get larger and faster. As things get closer to the center, they get smaller and slower. It was easier to tell what was going on in this universe, as the edge could be touched, at all parts, very quickly. But trying to touch the center results in failure. It is said that if Universe #16 and Universe #17 touched, a humongous explosion would destroy both universes, caused by the two sizes inflicting themselves on each other, making all matter and energy in the universes return to normal size. The two universes are in fact antitheses of one another. The same creatures and the same people live in both. For every human in 16, there's a version in 17, and the same for animals. Wildlife Obviously the same, as mentioned. However, the unimaginable shapes are different. Society Pretty much the same, except that mathemeticians discovered the geometry of 17 instead of 16 in this one. Coming Soon:Reject Universe #18 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reject Universe #18 (Storybook) Insert was working in his laboratory when a man named Dahma and a woman named Vhee showed up. They were both his employees, and had recently gotten engaged. He inquired if they would like to take part in an experiment he was running. They accepted. They both were put into a universe. They had many children, and grew elderly. It appeared that they would die soon, when suddenly they both de-aged into fetuses, and appeared in wombs. They did not know this at that point, but evventually Dahma would become every man in the universe through time travel and simultaneous de-aging, and Vhee every woman. Ages passed in the universe, and they fell in love and had babies (Themselves) trillions and trillions of times over. They experienced their children's lives, their neighbor's lives, lives of people they had never known before. What they did not know was that the universe's particles were undergoing a similar process- every piece of matter was in fact the same particle, and every bit of energy the same particle. Dahma and Vhee grew tired over the ages of the world. Eventually they requested to be taken out. But that was impossible, because everything had already been planned. The entire human race of 2 people weeped, and is still weeping. Coming up:Reject Universe #19 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reject Universe #19 (Storybook) Insert was working on a prank for an obnoxious telemarketer that was trying to request he buy "Universal Earmuffs", a completely useless accessory. So, he built a universe he called Statsland to demonstrate to the Telemarketer as his work. Statsland was 8 bit, and the animals and people all had red bars hovering over their heads that turned green when the animals were damaged. The animals died upon the bars being entirely turned green, sprayed gold upon death, and respawned from various points. It worked fine at first, for the original purpose... but he had not thought it out well enough. Gold quickly inflated until a wheelbarrow of gold was the equivelent of less than a percent of a penny. People lived in poverty, except for the most rich and powerful hunters, who lived worse than the average American. Insert, saddened at the price paid for his prank, created portals into a subuniverse present in many universes, where they lived out their lives as video game characters for us and other universes. (Don't worry, they don't die when they die onscreen. They don't die until videogames are stopped forever for some reason.) Coming Up:Reject Universe #20 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Reject Universe #20 (Storybook) Insert needed consultation on his battle with Naats. So, he created this universe. The entire planet sits around a giant monitor in the ground. The monitor is constantly feeding them information on important things. The populace is peaceful and eats a sort of cubic cow that wants to be eaten. They constantly take in the knowledge. Occasionally, when Insert needs consultation, he will ask a question through the monitor. The people all gather round and discuss it. Everything said in the Universe is communicated to Insert. The world would, in fact be perfect, but the people have a problem. They have no goals of their own in life- and because of that, their souls are artificial despite them being peaceful. If they found a goal in life, a bug in their souls would come up, and, though their souls would be less artificial, they would not be perfectly good any more. Insert plans to fix the bug after destroying Naats, but for now simply uses them for consultation. The Story of The Field Trip Children It was a day reported as being "At some point after Tuesday and before Wednesday", when Brahtt Elementary decided to take a tour of the Genesis Corporation. Note:Names translated to English Equivelents. Mrs. Smith:... and you see, if you work hard in school, some day you could be creating universes just like Insert. Insert:Thank you, Mrs. Smith. Now- Mrs. Jones:Why wait? How about they make up design concepts for universes, and Insert can make them? Mary Sue:That'd be awesome! Butch:No, it wouldn't, GIRL! Mary Sue:I am NOT a girl! My parents just didn't look at the Baby-naming book carefully enough when they moved to this country! Butch:Shut up! Mrs. Jones:You are not to say shut up in this class, Butch! Detention! And dobule detention, Mary Sue, for arguing! Mary Sue:My universe will have SUPER AWESOME LASERS! Madison:My universe will have pretty ponies and bunnies! And butterflies! Joe:My universe'll be about SOCCER! And me! Susie:My universe will have Minky* in it! Butch:MY UNIVERSE WILL ULTIMATELY DESTROY OTHER UNIVERSES! HAHAHAHA- Insert:This is a very bad idea, and I refuse to create such sophomoric universes. Butch:What? What's a sophomoric? Mrs. Jones:It's for the children. Mrs. Smith:But- Insert:But- Mrs. Jones:It's for the bleeping children, now shut up already. To be continued... Next:Reject Universe #21:SUPER AWESOME LASER LAND
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
(Oh, I was going to put an asterisk but forgot:Minky is a TV puppet in Insert's universe) Reject Universe #21 (Storybook) SUPER AWESOME LASER LAND (or SALL) is a very odd place. It consists entirely of humans, and lasers. The humans can some how stand on the lasers. They actually skateboard on the lasers. They use the lasers to play basketball, but with balls made of lasers. Oh, and the lasers randomly hit humans and burn them to death. The lasers occasionally form something for the sole purpose of burning it "awesomely". The lasers act on no laws of physics except one: "Act cool (not temperature-wise though)". Interestingly, in recent years, as the child who made it, Mary Sue, grew into a teenager, the lasers have begun wearing sunglasses, driving sports cars, forming into nude women, and shooting shurikens and lightning. Next Up:Reject Universe #22: Super Happy Unicorns Bunnies and Puppies World
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It was only tied, actually, because the law "Be cool", cool is an abstract adjective, and the most relevant definition was that of the creator. Reject Universe #22:Super Happy Unicorns Bunnies and Puppies World The universe consists, entirely, of a table with chairs floating around. The table is gigantic, infinite. An infinite number of Unicorns, bunnies, and puppies sit at the table and have a constant Tea Party. They discuss their respective Unicornness, bunnieness, and puppieness. Humans, driven mad from boredom, occasionally try to shake things up by jumping on the table, but are instantly set down by invisible hands in their chair and force-fed tea and forced to discuss their humanness. Generally considered a torturous experience for any of the human inhabitants. Comin' up:Reject Universe #23:Joe's Soccerland
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #23:Joe's Soccerland Basically, a universe constructed entirely of guys playing soccer. There are planets covered in fields. The soccer balls are actually sentient beings. This was a decision with very little foresight and resulted in much cruelty. The soccer balls constantly scream highpitchedly. Oddly, since there were only men and soccer balls, the soccer balls were the females. Try hard not to think about that. Later, in his teenage years, Joe sent a letter requesting cheerleaders to be the females. The request was misinterpreted, however, and the soccer balls were transformed into cheerleaders. The soccer players did not notice and simply used the cheerleaders as balls. Cooooooming up:Reject Universe #24:Minky Land
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #24:Minky Land Minky, the famed TV Puppet of Insert's land, was the favorite character of little Susie. So, she went all out. Minky, and all of her completely made up friends from the television, were real in this universe, and "controlled all of the humans". Susie was far too young to understand the ramifications of this, but she just enslaved an entire universe full of humans to some puppets she saw on television. The puppets, though cute on the television, corrupted with power and acted worse than Hitler. They killed humans who "wouldn't share" or "weren't friends" in terrible chambers of gas, very painfully. Though annoyed with the other children, Insert actually felt sorry for Susie for causing so many problems, and decided to simply send her edited pictures from the television show. She'll learn when she's old enough to understand, though there's no telling what sort of feelings she'll have for the next few days even then. Next Up:Reject Universe #25:Shupacupafupabupalupabus
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #25:Shupacupafupabupalupabus The class loon, Harry, was absent the day of the field trip. He was told about how he got to make a universe. And thus Shupacupafupabupalupabus was born. Shupacupafupabupalupabus was born of complete insanity. It consists of flying, toothed cakes with legs made of springs, and boxes with brains that shoot staples out of their bottom. Turtles with party hats dance on flying saucers in which sentient soap washes away dirt that has gotten on board. It is the universe of complete and total chaotic randomness. Planets are made of humans holding hands and forming a giant sphere thus. Stars, on the other hand, are made of electric eels doing the same thing. (The electric eels are purple, by the way). Schoolbuses full of cheese fly through vortexes of squirrels in pots... in Shupacupafupabupalupabus. Next:Reject Universe #26:THE ULTIMATE MIDDLEFINGER OF ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #26:THE ULTIMATE MIDDLEFINGER OF ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION!! This universe, Butch's, consists of a universe-sized Middle Finger with humans living in it, with a mouth. It traverses through the multiverse, attempting to eat other universes. Unfortunately, the mouth is extraordinarily tiny, as Butch did not specify the size of the mouth in his request. It attempted to eat Shupacupafupabupalupabus first, succeeded at eating one living dust bunny, which was going to die in a chocolate electric chair (actually an electric sofa) anyway. It then attacked Minkyland, and ate one stormtrooper's finger before being shot and forced to leave. It succeeded at eating about five square inches of grass in Joe's Soccerland before a Soccer ball hit its mouth, causing the universe to tremble in pain. It then attacked Super Happy Unicorns Bunnies and Puppies World, but only managed to sip some tea. The inhabitants were thankful, as the tea was too hot, and the universe proved that by spurting it out and having its tongue numb for days. Finally, it attacked SUPER AWESOME LASER LAND, but the lasers in it all burned the ULTIMATE MIDDLEFINGER OF ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION to a crisp. The inhabitants were saved beforehand, though, and relocated to more peaceful universes. Next on Hall of Rejected Universes:Reject Universe #27:RAAAGGGEEEE!!!!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #27 This universe was created by Insert out of rage for having to create the previous ones. Among its features: 1.Absolutely no photons (and thus no lasers) 2.Constant war between Unicorns, Puppies, and Bunnies, with constant, bloody, casualties. 3.Planets made of ground up soccer balls and crushed Minky puppets. 4.A complete system of order. Rather than more chaotic solar systems, planets are layed out on a grid, with one planet at each point. There is no chance and everything happens predictably. 5.There are no hands. Insert moved there for a week, swearing he would live there forever. After tripping helplessly and blindly over another unicorn corpse and landing head first in the ground for the hundredth time, he left and abandoned it. He now regrets the overcoming rage present in its creation, and tries to pretend it doesn't exist. And More To Come:Reject Universe #28
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #28 In RU28, every human has two minds. One is called the Base, the other the Outward. The Outward controls the body, but the Base is a stronger mind. There are six chemicals. These chemicals affect the Outward, but not the Base. One, called Feeliss, causes happy emotions and actions. One, called Terrabif, causes sad, depressed, and occasionally grumpy emotions and actions. Afrohd creates lust and false love. Hooluk creates angry feelings, hatred, and violence. Pasuv makes inactivity and drowsiness, Kifeen makes hyperactivity. The more of the chemical applied, the more extreme the results. Interesting Phenomonenon Usually the chemicals are in small ammounts everywhere, but occasionally it will rain one chemical in a city. The results can be hilarious or tragic. The effects slowly decay over several days after the chemical is applied.

Reject Universe #29 RU29 is like a giant, giant coin. It is flat and finite and has two sides. Beyond it is a void. There are two races of human, both descendents of a burrowing race that lived between the sides before the N-5 Event filled the center with lava. They are mostly the same, though one has a smaller body and a larger head (The Gresses), and the other has a larger body and a smaller head (The Resrels). Complicated maneuvers are required to travel to the other side without falling into the infinite pit of doom. Wildlife Among others- Flavish, fish that live in lava and occasionally break through the surface and flick their tongues out to eat things. Sinders, Giant Centipede-like creatures, in many families like insects, that live on the edge of the "coin". Bearons, gigantic, red canineesque carnivores. Koogs, grazing herbivores appearing something like a sort of slimy, green, cow-sized fox with blunt teeth, that are farmed. Bunzers, small, annoying, flitting organisms that suck blood like mosquitoes. Society The Gresses are far more intelligent than the Resrels, and, have, among other things, created absolute evidence that all numbers equal themselves even taking no assumptions at all. The proof is over the size of a 1000 page novel. The Resrels, on the other hand, are more tribal. Their technology is around the level of the Native Americans before they were discovered, living in tribes. They do not have wars, rather, they settle their differences using a sport that is sort of like Football, except that more points are scored for tackling someone than for throwing the ball through the goal. NeXt:Reject Universe #30
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #30 RU30 would eventually have much influence on the inhabitants of RU42. It is finite in two dimensions, only the size of a solar system. Vertically, it is infinite. In the center is Earth. Earth is flat, and only has one side. Around Earth float the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The edge is a circle of fixed Spheres. Earth is suspeneded on top of a tortoise. This Tortoise is suspended on top of another tortoise. This Tortoise is suspended on another one. It is tortoises all the way down. A long time ago, humanity only lived on the Earth but has since moved to the tortoises. Wildlife-Well, infinite, increasing in size, tortoises. Besides that, there are a lot of creatures that live on Earth. There is also a legendary, nameless, creature, enormous and grey, and with a nose much like a serpent... Society-Society is highly advanced, having developed spacecraft. They abandoned Earth and now only tell stories of it, and go down the various tortoises to live. The Spaceships run on Tortoise blood. Wells to get this blood are created on the tortoieses. And Soon:Appendix #3

Interesting Facts on RU30 RU42ers actually had good reason to believe what they believe-Naats dropped some photographs of RU30 in ancient times to confuse the ancient ones. Reject Universe #31 Energy Junction RU31 has nothing but energy in it. It has not matter at all. Energy beings move through the void. Though infinite, the scale of life is always increasing. Beings consume other beings with their own energy flesh to become larger and more intelligent. There is in fact only one species. It does not mutate through an evolutionary process like other life forms, rather it mutates during the course of its own life. Mutations are passed through consumption rather than reproduction. There is not a concept of a species, every being is unique. Intelligent beings tend to work together, though attack each other just as often. Wildlife Far too wide to describe even briefly. However, some major and common adaptions include sight, disruption lasers, and photon neutralyzers (invisibility) Society Society is variable. It never gets even to the level of tribal civilizations, and commonly does not even form at all in an area. And Next:Reject Universe #32
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #32 Matter of Fact RU32 is energyless. There is only matter. One species only exists. It was intended to look like humans, but it wound up looking like fat, humanoid melted, greenish-brown beasts. They run on perpetual motion, using loopholes in gravity. They float in the air, avoiding chunks of spherical matter. Their society is highly basic and simple. They live in family units and mate for life, but do not form societies such as a city or tribe. Wildlife: None. Society: None. And Next:Reject Universe #33
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #33 There are humongous, stripe-like, planks in RU33. Each one is approximately ten feet wide, six inches thick, and infinitely long. The gaps between them are ten feet wide as well. The planks are indestructable. There is a natural downwards pull, and traversing the gaps is one of the highly dangerous times. The pit is bottomless, however, which means your death comes not from the fall but from slow starvation. Wildlife Tentacled barnacle-like predators live clinging on the bottom of the planks. They wait for something to near the edge and pull it under and slowly lift it into their toothless jaws. A sort of fractal bamboo grows that splits into more and more smaller and smaller branches. It often eventually rests on multiple planks. A hopping herbivoric herding organism, which looks like a dog-sized fly-like insect, jumps like a flea. Given its size, this means it can travers many planks at once. A gigantic carnivore, around the size of a jumbo jet, which is known to be silver but not much else as those who see it typically die soon, avoids the risks of falling simply by being too large to fall through the gaps. It eats in masses the herbivores, the barnacle-predators, and humans when possible. Society The civilization that lives there is not rooted in the real world. It is an entire civilization where the national pasttime is tabletop gaming. In civilized areas, predators are fended away. Men (and women) whittle away their time playing imaginary games of luck and skill. It is even used to settle wars. It was invented as an escapism from the dull and often dangerous plankworld. AnD nExT:Reject Universe #34
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #34 RU34 is an infinite world that contains an infinite sea. Life developed within the sea. Plants called Driftwoods that floated onto the surface when dead and were very durable. They eventually formed whole Driftwood islands. The islands eventually gained land life and humans. The islands were very small, never larger than about a square foot, yet still landdwellers clung to them. Humans are far better swimmers than RU42ers, though they must come up to the surface at least once every five minutes. Wildlife A sort of coral-like plant called the Ud contains a fluid that can be used for glue. It is hunted for for this purpose. A peaceful and highly intelligent dolphin-like creature called the Moila hunts small fish. A deadly radially symetric shark (The same fins on it's top, bottom, and sides, and four eyes, one per sector) hunts alone. It is much feared as it can jump at least ten feet out of the water. A mysterious creature, of unknown intentions, and of highly rare sightings, that probably lives in the very deep oceans, is known only by one description:Humongous. Herbivorous or carnivorous, peaceful or treacharous, whale-sized or large enough to fill one's entire vision, no-one knows. Society Society did not exist until the invention of glue. Then people started gathering lots of Driftwood and making city-sized rafts, complete with Driftwood buildings. The society is still-hunter-gatherer, but simple machines have already been invented. Next Up:Reject Universe #35
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #35 RU35 is infinite and flat like several others. However, there are in fact two seperate layers of it. One, at the bottom, is ignorant from the layer 20 feet above it. There are many holes in the top layer, in organized patterns. There is one circular hole at every point in a grid formed on the top layer. The top layer, unbeknownst to the bottom layer, rules the bottom layer secretly. Biology and Life Cycle There are several differences between our life cycle and the RU35ers. For instance, puberty comes with the first major growth spurt, meaning most people who can walk can reproduce. Of course they do not, just like teenagers generally do not reproduce despite being capable in RU42. Additionally, all are born in the top layer. At the age of 17, memory is erased, the person is sterilized, and they are dropped to the bottom layer with a severe lack of curiosity of the top layer added into their mind. All pregnancies must be teen pregnancies in RU35- of course, that does not matter as humans socially mature much quicker. The equivelent issue to teen pregnancy is Siddi pregnancy (Siddi being an over-time abbreviation of "Single Digit"). Wildlife There are only three species in RU35- humans, Calmsticks, odd plants that taste something like chicken, and Happibares. Happibares evolved to look cute - they look something like a white teddy bear- but are very deadly. You can die in one of two ways from a Happibare. One is making eye contact. This is arguably the best way to go in the multiverse. You feel euphoria, you get all the jokes you never got before. Then you die. The other is eating its meat. This causes your eyes to quit functioning properly, making you cry until you drown. Next- Reject Universe #35
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #36 A long time ago, RU36 was much like our own. However, war broke out. No-one remembers what the war was over. However, the bombs dropped decayed the very fabric of RU36. The universe would clearly collapse soon. Fortunately, the scientists in RU36 were very intelligent. They implanted everyone in the universe into a new, escapist universe. It was nearly like a video game, but with infinite realism. It was like a high-tech game of laser tag. It was an infinite, three dimensional, dark maze. There were three factions, the reds, the blues, and the yellows. Random devices in the wall could do various things. There were two kinds of laser, destroying, which took away health, and repairing, which added health. Destroyers were orange, repairers green. If the lasers had stripes, it would only affect those of the faction that had the stripes (red-striped-oranges would only damage reds for instance). Each faction's goal was to destroy the other faction's men as many times as possible. Like in video games, when you die you come back to life, and like in video games there is no pain. Reproduction is neccasary to produce more players. If the two mates are the same faction, the baby is of that faction. If the two mates are of different factions, the baby is of the faction belonging to neither mate. Wildlife There is many wildlife. They act as factionless laser-shooting enemies. They come in infinite varieties (They are procedurally generated). And Next-Reject Universe #37

Reject Universe #37 Before a Mentcrack (a metauniversal phenomenon that lets ideas seep from one universe to another) brought the concept of Naziism to RU42, it existed in RU37. A project to create a teleporting warrior plant was in process. However, something went wrong. The plant decided it was superior to all. It teleported itself to the center of the Earth and captured humans. The rest of the humans it teleported magma into. It placed thousands of babies of itself along the surface of the Earth. Humans became slaves to the Naziplants. The plants forced a symbiotic relationship with humans. Humans had portals inside their body that teleported food to the plants. The humans must follow the plant's instructions. Free will still exists- but not following the plant's instructions will result in quick death by magma. The plants, called Pods to show that they are even superior to their creators the Nazis, have a honeycomb membrane at the outermost area of a sphere, which controls intelligence and human instructions. Further in is a food collecting honeycomb membrane to collect teleported food. At the center of the sphere is a ball that controls all of the teleportation (there are teleporters in each cell) and has a mass of magma for human disposal. Soon-Reject Universe #38
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #38 RU38 simply cannot have much written upon it as it changes very quickly and it would soon be out of date. You see, rather than the forces being normally attractive and repellent in different ammounts, they vary. The universe oscillates over a six week period. At first, the universe is one tightly packed ball as all forces are attractive. After an hour, the ball spreads throughout the entire universe in a huge explosion as the forces become normal and stable. Every time, humans are created on some planet. They are created as if they were going about their average lives, with all buildings and technology of their society created with them. After three weeks, the stable period ends. All forces become repellent, and all matter spreads completely evenly through the universe, each particle several feet from the other particle. After an hour of this, it becomes stable for three more weeks, humans being created again, in a completely different society, before going back to being a tightly packed ball. This repeats ad infinitum. It is rather tragic and Insert regrets it. Special Preview From now on, on multiples of ten starting on RU40, along with the normal RU I will put in some information on either Insert's universe, the art of Universecrafting, or the multiversal structure. Next:Reject Universe #39

Reject Universe #39. Insert decided after making RU38 that he would stop something. Every single universe made him do a doubletake when he saw his computing bill at the end of the month he completed it in. Quite simply, the calculations required to keep everything running in the universes cost far too much. He decided to do something to stop this. Thus, he created the Kingdom of Mathos. The Kingdom of Mathos condenses calculations to one universe. At first, one would think it was an infinite casino floor. It is, but it is not technically gambling as every single inhabitant of the universe has an infinite ammount of money, so the inhabitants merely play to be amused at the results. Every slot machine has a different probabability of winning in various ammounts, and as the land is infinite and infinite humans are constantly playing, the results are used to create results for chances in all the universes. But, though males and females alike play at the slot machines, the female players are sterile. Only the Queens mate. The Queens live on the dance floors. They dance and sing like any performer. However, rather than singing predetermined words, screenreaders feed them equations to solve, which they solve to music while dancing. They are very intelligent and have not made a mistake yet, despite RU39 having been around for billions of years and there being an infinite quantity of them. Their answers feed definitive results to the other universes. Food consists of meat and water that appears in front of people when they are hungry or thirsty. Normally this would be unacceptable, but Insert was trying to create a tool, not the perfect universe. And soon:Reject Universe #40 and More
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reject Universe #40 An infinite number of floating disks, each approximately 20 feet in diameter, float in RU40, immobile. Men and women constantly fall down, from disk to disk. They jump from disk to lower disk. They hunt small creatures that also fall down from disk to disk, that look vaguely like furry white lizards. Nothing hunts the humans, so they spend most of their time hunting, eating, falling, and mating. Reproductive rates are massively larger than RU42, and by the end of her life a woman will likely have had over 20 children. Wildlife Besides the lizardthings, a plant grows which the lizards eat. It looks something like a ball covered in hot dogs. It is rather tasty to humans as well, but not nearly as nutritious as the lizards. Society Technology is a little less advanced than modern man's, with the most advanced technology being made of steam engines. Society is vastly different from that of RU42ian's. A major reason for this traces back a long ways into their history. Though society was not sexist for one gender, a major taboo was battles between men and women. Thus, the gesture of a handshake, which evolved in most societies to prove that neither had a weapon in hand, never formed between males and females. Thus, the equivelent gesture over time became mating. Unlike most societies where mating bonds were formed, and emotions specific to mating formed, it became something completely normal. The only censors were on violence. However, the urge to censor violence grew as there was little else to censor. Though wars develop in RU40, any citizen who was not a soldier could not tell you that as even the news media is prohibited from talking about it. Not only are war secrets secret, but the wars themselves are secret. The government does not like this as it means it can only get soldiers via drafting, leaving the countries rather unpatriotic.
And A Special Feature Insert's Universe Insert's Universe used to be like... something, but no-one can remember. It has been bulldozed away and replaced with an entirely manmade universe. Floating city-sized bubbles are controlled by people to connect in different ways. Insert owns three of them:A laboratory city, a factory city, and a city as a private home for him and his more close partners. In Insert's universe, a handy device called a Holographic Autodisplay Litithicium Organ. It is a small device that one swallows. Afterwards, a ring-shaped computer about a foot in diameter will form inside one's head and float on top of it. Then, at business meetings, you can display holograms of graphs, charts, prototypes, or whatever one wants to display. A much more sinister device called the Hearttaker Oscillating Ripping Nicknacks, a highly illegal and dangerous device, consists of two small cones. When one puts them on his head, one on each side, they can drain energy from your soul and shoot it out as a weapon. Using it is addictive, and one is less human every time it is used. Naats attempted to assasinate Insert with it shortly after the corruption of RU11, but failed and only created a large hole in the food he was eating.
Special Contest! From now on, I will be running the Multiversal Travel Bureau Contest! We will start with RU1. Rules: 1. You must make an advertisement for the universe as a tourist attraction in comic form. 2. When I get three comics, I will judge. 3. I will judge on artwork, creativity of format, and ammount of information presented. Bonus if you weave a story in. 4. I will edit the post and illustrate the universe with the winner. 5. Then we move on to the next universe for the contest. Soon:Reject Universe #41

Darth, you gonna enter the Multiversal Travel Bureau Contest? Reject Universe #41 RU41 was designed by Insert to make a point to a colleague in an argument. He later regretted it, as in order to make that point he put billions and billions of humans through hell. Every human as a seperate subuniverse. The subuniverse consists of an empty field. Nothing can be changed-if you wrote your name in the dirt and quit looking at it, then when you looked at it, it would not be there. There is no starvation, all needed energy is transported into your body by the very universe. Mating occurs three times-once at twenty, once at thiry, and once at forty. During mating, sperm are taken by the universe and placed into females, which means no one even knew it happened in the first place until all the females become pregnant. When children are born, they are transported to a new subuniverse of their own, which means no-one ever meets anyone except their mother, briefly at birth. Fortunately, Multiversal travellers have no such constraints to stay in their subuniverse, as they are native and have no subuniverse, and thus can rescue the inhabitants-but only one by one. Next Up:Reject Universe #42 (Oops, I forgot an appendix. Next one'll be double.)

I think all these fellows would be anti-social, pseudo-autiscis by now. Having never socialized in their life, first encounters might be rather rocky.

They'd be like the point in Flatland, unaware of even the possibility of other objects existing...

Reject Universe #42 A millenia has passed since the modern age. What has happened to our world? We have gone much farther into space. Only five countries exist:The United States of America, the European Union, the New Soviet Union, the People's Republic of Asia, and the Australian Empire. Though all are far into space, only the USA, the NSU, and PRA have faster than light travel, though the other countries are typically trying to steal it. Faster than light travel is easy-you just need to temporarily shrink the entire universe. Though time travel has been discovered impossible, a common sight is a time viewer-a machine that allows one to look back in time. A dollar's worth of electricity allows you to look back a month. The more electricity used, the further back you can see. Just as the RP starts, the US ship the President Harry, sponsored by the George Bush XII Foundation for Multiversal Knowledge, with thirty scientists, ship pilots, doctors, and just average citizens, began it's journey through the worlds. The ship orbits around Khan IV to collect energy for its travel (Khan IV mysteriously emits energy). It has an onship portal for travel. Approximately an hour is required for the creation of each portal, though once the portal is created it can be used at any time. RU42 is currently the 4th most advanced multiversal civilization.

So once they make a portal, do they have to recharge again? And will the entire ship go through, or just a few scouts?

Once a portal's made, no recharging is neccasary, it's just made. And, well, the ENTIRE ship doesn't go through. A few rats go through with health monitors, then a few human scouts, then the entire crew goes through. Reject Universe #43 RU43 is the site of the biggest Mentcrack possible. It affected American culture in a large portion of the twentieth century. Years ago, there were two civilizations, a barbarous one and a civilized and advanced one. The civilized one decided they were bored, so they bulldozed the entire planet, created a habitat for the barbarous one, tought the barbarous one how to use it, and then shot themselves. The planet is a humongous city. Males and females have completely different roles in society. In childhood they are the same. They are tought in spherical spheres about society (they live in the spherical spheres as well, and do not leave until graduation), until at age 12 the males are released and at age 16 the females are released. The males go to find a pack-groups of nomadic motorcyclists who hunt their own food. Females attempt to find a job. Packs travel from motel to motel nightly, though sleeping in the grass is not uncommon. Every pack has an Alpha Male, who gives all the orders and becomes AM by killing the last AM, or, more peacefully, by getting the last AM to say he is the AM. The Alpha Male is not the only male who mates, merely the most likely. You see, when a male feels the mating urge caused by seeing females, he first must take his shirt off (to avoid ruining the shirt). He puts his arms by his sides and sweats rapidly. But this is not normal sweat. When he spreads his arms out, the sweat has solidified and formed into a circular (When his arms are correctly positioned) mating display. The more elaborate it is, the more likely a female will see it and request mating. Alpha Males always have the most elaborate and colorful mating displays. Society Society in males has already been explained. However, females are really the workers and the creators. They build the buildings, they run the buildings. Males visit the buildings for their services, but can never truly own one. Some common buildings include (this'll be a blur) Diners, Malt shops, Disco Halls, and Coffee Shops. Additionally, there is no religion, but not athiesm either. No-one has thought about it. The equivelent, for females at least, is fashion. Some females think miniskirts are best. Others support jeans. Yet others rely constantly on short shorts. Males think it is rather silly, as they do not care HOW they desire mating, they just care that they desire it. Wildlife A creature called the Jukebox has a symbiotic relationship with humans. It moves from resturaunt to resturaunt and eats quarters in exchange for songs. However, a mimic, the False Jukebox, looks exactly like it but has teeth and will attempt to eat whoever uses it. A deadly predator called the Wild Automobile, which looks like an old Beetle but has teeth underneath, will attempt to roll humans over, and then eat them. Fortunately it is easy to kill, you merely must shoot it's windshield. Soon Enough:Reject Universe #44

Reads like a whacked up take on society, which is obviously intentional. I like it.

Oh, weren't you going to write an essay on every universe's RPability when I hit 42? Reject Universe #44 Spiders. Where do you think they came from? RU42 was still evolving as RU44 was being designed, which made Insert think the following thought: "These things are AWESOME! I'll make them unintelligent, make them arthropods instead of chordates, make them REALLY tiny, and make them in RU42!" You can see that he was very intellectual that day. In RU44, humans have three sets of arms and one set of legs. They liquify their food with their teeth before eating it. And, females at least, can create webs (The gland is actually in their breasts, giving it a secondary use). The species is entirely arboreal and avoids the ground at all cost. Society Society has three stages (two for males). The first is schooling. They spend the first eighteen years of their life in this period, much like RU42 today. After graduation from college, mating occurs. After mating, females eat their mate. This cannot be stopped, it is an instinctual reaction. A tube through the female's spinal cord brings the egg sac to the head. Finally, a hole forms in the roof of the female's mouth, and the egg sac falls out. The female then roasts the egg sac over a fire. Each egg springs up and turns into a human, like popcorn. Then, comes work. There are two kinds of job. Studentwork, and Workwork. Studentwork is work to make the lives of the students better. Workwork is work to make the lives of the workers better. Wildlife Springloaders, snakes that spring from tree to tree using their tail as a sort of leg, are very tasty, at least to RU44ers. A horrific animal called the Ghrabivin, which looks something like a Chinese Dragon and lives on the ground, has a student (always female) sacrifice made to it every year. There is one for every village. Soon:Reject Universe #45
